I was hoping they'd rewrite this part and leave GaoT's father out of it. He really is a piece of shIt and worse but in the novel he's 1000 times worse.

I'm sorry🤭 but that part in the extra chapters where he came down with mate seeking syndrome was funny as hell. He deserved to feel the heat of his mate being nowhere to be found.

Yeah that's the way it went down in the novel but 😔sadly I don't think we'll get all that in the series.

I don't get him at all.. he don't act like someone that's trying to save his wife from something. Anyway why not just tell her what's going on.. if he's doing it for her benefit. But he looks like when it all come down to it he don't have any backbone at all. He should know that his secretary won't do what he's instructed her to do. After all he'd already warned her about what had already went and done but he's just that stupid to be putting anything in her hands or trusting her.🙄
If he is actually trying to "save" his wife then why trust that woman with anything when she already went behind your back you moron. It don't say anything about it in the book but for ep 10 I wonder if Hua Yong knew the earthquake was coming. He knew the rescue people was there with all the equipment, his hearing and senses are off the charts and he's already dressed in his signature all black when it happens. So I wonder if for the show he had some kind of plan to let it all out then.🤔

And it explains why "about the no baby bump" in the novel... I don't know why people don't take the time to read it. It's not only a good novel ...it will also explain some things that's happening in the show that they might not understand.

It's Shen that's pissing me off and I just want to pop👊🏼 him.
He says all kinds of crap and then acting rather shocked that Gao might think that he's done something with Hua Yong. Gao don't know what the really deal is.. he can only go by Shen's words/actions and anybody would think what he's thinking or start to question things. Not to even go into the fact that he treats the guy like 💩. Yet Gao still hanging around taking all that crap from him.

Hard to judge but with the novel I think only because it's more detailed and the tv series well it's limited because they can't have everything that's in the novel but the actors are really bringing the characters to life and the series is PRETTY DAMNED FANTASTIC.
