That is really wrong and one of the things I hated to my core in the book. The guy who's body he has has long ago gotten lost in the shuffle. I really feel for the new Joe's mother. To never know that your actual son is dead. I do get it a bit but I thought that was really cruel in the books to let her go on not knowing her son is dead.

I loved it but I'm also unhappy with the ending. I don't like the he gave up on life like that. Kim Deuk Pal was as the older and I'm gonna say wiser should've pressed more during their interactions that he should live on. Of course he's not an old man but he should've pressed to him that he had a long life ahead of him and did more to help him not give up.
