According to the novel, there is another character who is hired (as LYS wants to eventually go back to the medical field) and he is a friend of YS. YS introduces him to NXG. This new character calls NXG ... boss infront of Qi Qi. That is how Qi Qi knows. XG tells both her friends from work during a conversation. These 3 (Qi Qi, Yin Jie and Yu Hua) take it pretty well and keep it a secret for XG. And eventually she reveals it herself in office and as far as I remember it is received quite well.
This story has many interesting characters with so much personality and life. It was an amazing watch. The conversations in this made me really think sometimes about real life and situations in general. It brought out so many emotions but at the same time was very fulfilling and relaxing to watch. Would definitely recommend to someone who enjoys that cozy and slice of life vibe.

In the novel, her name was mentioned along with her mother's few times but they never had any dialogue. Its drama only addition Once the ML and FL started dating they were strong and communicated.
