Couldn't agree with you. I found their criticism quite logical. Before speaking up for the director I think you should learn whether he actually did something or not. People are not lazy enough to talk rubbish about someone innocent.
And if there is any fault, there would be some criticism. The comment section is made for both positive and negative reviews. If the production team is at fault, why would people ignore it? I didn't see any negative comments about the production teams of other dramas. Why? Because they didn't do anything negative. But it's different here.
If you feel bothered about it you can simply ignore the comment section. The drama hasn't started yet. They are still filming. So don't expect to see people only commenting about how the drama is going on.
And I saw many negative things on weibo about this director from his previous drama MJTY also. So you can't say he is innocent either.
