Seok Ryu's mom was one of the less likable characters for me. She barely experienced any growth. Now, I am not Korean, and I've never lived in Korea so I don't know how parents relate to their kids. For what I've heard from my ex school peers, they tend to be very demanding and they pressure them to be always the best. Apparently, they are raised in very competitive environments where perfection is the norm. The show must have lots of cultural nuances that we as foreigners don't understand completely.

Yep! the only problem for me is is the writing part. The arch of the characters, the unnecessary teasing moments that were resolved later as if nothing happened. Keeping some of the characters without experiencing any growth at all. The conflict that was never crealy shown or developed. I don't know! my script writing professor would probably have a lot of comments on how the writing style still needs to mature. It is good writing, though it still needs work...

What's the theory? They will get married by the end of the show, and the Bali pictures could potentially be part of the final credits. The song that Jung Hae In will sing as part of the OST for Seok Ryu could also potentially be Hae in's love declaration to Jung So min. The book that will go on sale with pictures and BTS of the show could be a homage to the real life relationship that flourished during the filming of the series.
