I was looking forward to this drama because of Chen Zheyuan and Wu Xuanyi (I liked her in Sweet Teeth), but I don't like FL's acting at all. Too exaggerated. Acting was a bit over-the-top from Wu Xuanyi in Sweet Teeth too, but eventually she does a really good job.

Admittedly I don't like the FL here either. Her acting was well done in Sweet Teeth though.

Well the main FL is not Chinese. She's from Thailand.
The ML is ethnically Chinese and does speak Mandarin, just not "standard" Beijing accent.

I'm super excited. I liked Wu Xuanyi in Sweet Teeth (though sometimes a bit over-the-top) and Chen Zheyuan in Hidden Love.

I wasn't familiar with TFBoys before watching this, came in completely blind and I seriously enjoy the show. Acting is well done, first episode is pretty depressing but it gets better later on. One of my favourite shows, I recommend you to continue.
