I can understand that anything that is a reminder of a painful past can be difficult to watch, but this is a fiction, what about all the Vietnam War movies ?(Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon...) The drama is not based on the novel, the writer only took it as one of her source of inspiration. It's a suspense thriller with a slice of dark comedy. Choi Do-Il is a, mysterious character. He's supposed to only care about money but meeting the older sister may have changed that, or not. This drama was unpredictable all along, even with 2 episodes left, no one can say how it'll end. I think it depends whether you are an active or passive spectator. Some people feel the need to identify to the characters in order to feel empathy for them, so of course they get annoyed when they do dumb choices. The ending is stressing me out, please be good π
