I watched the first episode and it reminded me of old modern cdramas and it's not entirely in a good way. It's very cute and as always Esther yu is a very cute person with a very cute voice . It's a drama that is targeted to a younger audience but yeah not for me.
it's really bad! the plot sucks! it's not a hate train, but if you think that I suggest you to watch itπ₯°
I am planning to. But it does seem to be a very hateful comment section.. I am curious to how awful it is to have such rating. It better be unwatchable
Ml role requires mature man (35+ Years) to play father role for 8 year old son , so to makes sense they casted…
I think lusi is a good actress liked her in the long ballad and in love in the galaxy before I discovered that her character was meant to be 14 at the very end of s1 but all her dramas have the younger woman /older man troupe that I absolutely hate example dating in the kitchen, the pearl one which I didn't watch or character age gaps like hidden love and love in the galaxy. The immortal one ( sorry I am really bad with drama names) the one with an yu was probably entirely the production and the script being bad she did what she could with it. So to this day I haven't liked a drama where she is the FL soley based on the reason of her being typecasted. I am not a fan so I am trusting what you are telling me of her choosing and not being forced on these roles. I can't blame her if that's what's getting her fame I guess. I also know I will probably never watch one of her dramas at this point and its fine. Simply not my thing
Been watching so many dramas but nothing compares to the thrill I had while watching the double ππ. 10 years from now this will be passed on as a classic
A hater keep coming to hate on this drama. Your life must be miserable.
A stan can't accept criticism weird behavior. Can't I dislike the drama?? I think it's draggy especially on the second half and the very first is simply unbelievable and very much miscasted and the 8 years age difference really shows here . I am not going to be intimidated to not have an opinion. Nice try tho
Hmmm that makes me really sad π I find actresses in their 30s the most charismatic. Excatly there to be heavy promotion to the the 00's but we are not getting new young actors on the other hand so there is no balance at all. It's a shame really! Because I can't watch dramas with age gaps (there are a few great exceptions here and there) but I like a balanced couple who don't look far apart. Thank you for replying to me
Here is what I am talking about idk if you have watched lost you forever but anyway it was a massive success and all 3 leads went on to get many other projects mind you one is 34, the other is 30 and the last one is 30 also. All three of them got projects with women in their early 20s despite the age gaps but there was only a project with a women in her 30s and only one of them got it. So guy 34 got pairee with women early to mid twenties despite his old age and the other two tho younger also mostly took on that age range and they are not the only cases. Age gaps are very rampant in cdramas and it's mostly a one way straight because it seems the other way around is very much not accepted so I am wondering is it the audience, is it the industry or is it a new law or censorship

I am talking in general here not just this drama and I am sure if they wanted a more compatible couple they would have casted someone in their early 30s or late 20s who could be a father to an 8 yr old boy or casted an older fl instead of making Zhao lusi play as an older woman π . I am talking about these choices of having the men very often older and in some cases like here with a significant age difference. I know unfortunately Zhao lusi has been typecasted and forced by her company to take on these roles but how about the other actresses. Doesn't it mean the industry is promoting this. Why are young rookie or young in general actresses for example rarely play with actors their age. I am asking genuinely here why is that the case especially since it wasnt this bad a couple of years ago. Sure we would get a couple of dramas like that but most couples were close in age
