Fun watch
Very cute watch. The leads love for each other is so wholesome and the chemistry is great. Loved how they met two times and fell for eo without knowing their real identity. She really is his destiny ❤️ also looooved the second couple, it's the first time I love both the main couple and second couple equally. The first two episodes with the game theme were great and I wished there was more of it. Would love a drama with this type of theme. A new favorite!
Wow what a masterpiece!!!!!! I started binging and couldn't stop, even pulled an all nighters. That's how good this drama is, Everything about it is just top notch that I don't even know where to start. Huge shout out to the cinematography and the beautiful coloring the emphasises the actors natural beauty. Every single actor in this drama looks amazing even the elders look graceful.. The men with their impeccable subtle eyeliner look stunning!! You get me right they all are gorgeous men and women, especially Duke su with his beautiful doe eyes enhanced by the eyeliner wings that give him a cunning but mature look and our stunning female lead with her big eyes. The acting is also superb while watching the drama I got totally immersed that I forgot that this is acting and combined with great directing that didn't prolong a scene unnecessarly but we had everything just the right amount, there were no side characters that weren't important to the plot and the chemistry between the lead oh God!! They are one of my favorite all couple, I loved their banter and how equally matched they are. That scene in the rain I literally screamed like I love them so much. Lastly I want to talk about the beautiful music played from the zitter and the flaute those pieces were so good, I don't remember how much I rewinded the entry exam music competition. It gave me the same feelings of excitement that I had when I watched alchemy of souls season 1. A 10/10 but if I could give it a 10000 I would, it's one of my all time favorite dramas everWas this review helpful to you?

I love this drama so much!!! A one day(her marriage lasted 1 day 😭) divorcee with debt pretends to be her nephew's mom after being mistaken to be so since her sister who works and doesn't have time has paid her to take care of her son. This drama is full of wtf moments and love that it doesn't take itself seriously and the two love interest are super cute but I have a serious sml syndrome here 😭😭Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointing
Let's just start with the ending was atrocious to say the least, they literally butchered it. Another thing the more you go on with the arc the more tedious they become.. Some arcs are just torture to watch, especially secondary characters arcs. The FL is very teenager like which highly icked me. The chemistry was just not there at all, again especially because she is so childish it felt weird and don't let me talk about the kiss scenes! Probably the worst kiss scenes I have seen in a while, a 36 yr old guy can't even kiss 🤷🏻♂️. With such a high budget Expected more but honestly this drama could be outperformed even by short dramas. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, a hard skip.Was this review helpful to you?
What is this???
Ok I give up on this. I went into it with an open mind knowing that I don't usually like this type of drama but if it's a 9 I guess It was widely beloved for a reason right? Well no! After a couple of episodes these is so much ugly men and ugly drama visuals, that's not it too. Ugly men and ugly drama visuals and a confusing plot where is the time traveling element did I miss it? We start with him as a kid then he grows into an ugly random man who lives with his grandma then goes to the capital, the drama tries some very failed comedy. So counting ugly men, ugly drama visuals, confusing plot and dare I say atrocious makeup, especially on the old people you can see the cracks. Magically the ugly in this drama does not extend to the women, ha! All the women in here are absolutely stunning. All of them. So ugly men, ugly drama visuals, bad makeup, confusing plot and beautiful women paired with ugly men. You couldn't possibly Givin me a worse drama if you tried but wait a minute thats not the end the FL is apparently stupid af like she has the intelligence of a kid.. No literally she acts and thinks with the capacity of a 4 yr old kid. I will go ahead and say it this is by far the worst drama I have ever seen in my life and I didn't even manage to finish it.Was this review helpful to you?
Disappointing
An okay drama ruined by a minor actress having a romance with an almost 30 yr old guy stopped at 29 and have no interest in watching her rubbing the 27 yr old guy back wheh she was probably only 16 cuz wtf. I would have Givin this an 8 cuz the sisters arc were good but I can't in good conscious give it an 8 when it's so problematic. So it's a 1. And don't bother arguing and making excuses on how minor exploitation is normal cuz idc.Was this review helpful to you?
Very unique
Hmmm what a bizarre drama right? I am struggling to rate it just because it's so unique!First of all people might be tricked into thinking the main leads are the center of this dramas and well most of the drama is centered about the crime stories that the comic shows, the ml is there to investigate and arrest the criminals at the end of the episode and the FL is..well bed ridden up to ep 8. How it works is like this the comic that I have mentioned how is initially blank will start having the drawing of the crime, they are very closely inspired by the real crimes but they are twisted in a world of fantasy so the story plays in full then the detective (ml) has to get the hints from the comic and find the actual facts of the crime. After ep 8 tho the ml and fl story starts and it's so cuuuute (romance only on the very last episode tho 😭) nevertheless I highly enjoyed it. Some arcs are better than others but overall I was always invested plus pls be aware of these trigger warnings : violence, blood, non explicit multiple rape scenes and attempted assault especially ep 8 and 11. Overall 9 out of ten

Masterpiece!!!!
Wow! What a freaking masterpiece. I have so many thoughts first of all how in the hell is this a 7.3??? Empress chunchu what a woman! What a warrior. She is basically the founder of a strong goryeo and she should have remained in power until her death tbh but those evil ministers and even minister gang was selfish since he wanted gyereong in power whom he raised and plus she saved the emperor and he couldn't even grant her a favor. The only bad thing about this drama is that I can find good quality videos of it :( but it was so worth it. Hope this could get another adaptation. An easy 10 and I will be rewatching it over and overWas this review helpful to you?
Best drama of 2024 so far
A lovely historical about a widow that seeks at night to be a badass hero and her cute, wholesome romance with the STUNNING male lead.things I loved about the drama:
-Despite having intense and maybe sad moments they don't get dragged for long, every hurdle is resolved very quickly so I am never anxious or dreading and it keeps the atmosphere of the drama lighthearted
-the comedy, it's not a comedy that will make you laugh and roll but will keep a smile on your face with the FL antics of acting like the perfect widow infront of her mother in law, when in reality she is far from it 😂
-the badass fighting scenes, they are so well done with a lot of action
- the romance, the leads have such an obvious natural chemistry between them tho they can't act on it so it's a bit of a forbidden romance and he is as I said previously stunning/ethereal/magnetic ok you get the point, right? I would risk everything to elope with him so can't blame fl for falling for him!
-every side character had its own job and were well fleshed out and entertaining to watch
What I didn't like :
-That there was no kiss scenes 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, mind you this a no physical touch romance and I wanted a final kiss at the very least
-the drama is too short, wanted more of it!
