I am still watching it but this drama hits home. The FL and I are the same age and I can relate to many of the things she goes through Including an overbearing mom, tho not as toxic as the FL mom

No they are not and even the mcs have commented on janghee's visuals. Some trainees are there to fill numbers like in every other survival shows. People that won't debut here or anywhere else by the way bcs they won't be able to make it in the industry

Man for someone who is done, you sure have a lot to say. Well I hope there are a lot of people like me but unfortunately there are ugly male idols out there that bring the group down hopefully we get rid of them :) as for talent, a good looking talented idols is the actual all rounder someone like Kai from EXO for example. That's the whole package. The problem with you is that you won't acknowledge visuals as a skill but an idol need to draw you in before you even consider watching him. Talented but ugly? Don't be an idol.. I do care about talent by the way but is it above visuals? No.

We don't have biases reading your comment and he is almost 40 and does look older, as for the 2nd ml he looks late 20s too just like the FL and if both played as highschooler I wouldn't question it either. Everyone has preferences, personally I like couples who look good together and not too far apart in age. Even if we can close an eye on their apparent age difference, there is also how mature and stoic the male lead is, compared to how childish and youthful the FL is for example. That's why I prefer the sml over the ml. You might like older casts for me it defends, as long as there no big age gaps and the two look good together sure

Yeah don't really care about all of that. Visuals are a skill too and they do matter, if you have a sympathy syndrome for ugly/fat male idols/trainees don't expect other people to think the same. Ofc an idol should be good looking it's part of their job whether you like it or not.
