Ok i finally watched the whole episode. Thoughts:
Wooyeol and gyuri are 100% not going to have a smooth relationship in fact i would say they are not giving EG at all .
The panelist keep saying oh look he is taking care of Gyuri and gyuri only but he only takes care of her in front of YG. Almost to display their affection rather than actually appeal to gyuri. When Yg left with sungmin , wooyeol face completely shifted that was not a slight displeasure . Its was a massive sign of distress and jealousy . He showed strong emotions there, more than he ever shown to anyone else . When he didn't get a text from yg he once again showed strong emotions. When texting , even tho he spent the day with gyuri he seemed to be conflicted .
Seowon is there to eat and sleep at this point , he is not even trying .. We won't see him actually try until catfish i guess. Which i am honestly not a fan of, i would assume even if you don't have any interest that you would still try to get to know others and not completely shut them down aka with gyuri.
Minju deserves so much better than this rusty doctor ..can they bring another catfish?? Doctor really seems to think his cringe act can make YG fall for him ..sadly for him as long as wooyeol is in the picture and he isn't shutting the door with YG , he will stand 0 chance. I just don't see with how strongly wooyeol reacted today that he will be shutting any doors , infact they wide open and next date ..he even says that he hoped it would be YG 🤡🤡
Gyuri crying is so justified ..she is intelligent enough to know what kind of man wooyeol is and her falling for him is a recipe for disaster

I actually decided not to care about him anymore. I really wanted him to try it out with gyuri so that he can save her from the heartache that is wooyeol but oh well.

I think he liked yg and after he saw how much she likes wooyeol he withdrew and didn't know who to fall back to , that's why he will become much more proactive with catfish. They will be the most stable couple tho i bet catfish also will want to explore thing with wooyeol.

If you look closely the one with the lined brown top is gyuri since its a female hand. So no , its seowon, he was arranging the tissues but she helped him and he bolted away so fast. According to the teaser wooyeol has this date and another one with YG and one confirmed with catfish . so their story no matter what wont be straightforward . also according to trailer she will have a date with lawyer and possibly even doc probably random pick. Seowon is 100% ending with catfish. There is no way anything else will happen , he is not interested in gyuri and the other 2 girls are not interested in him ..so it must be catfish.

Thoughts
sad that seowon is so closed off to gyuri. In the preview she accidentally touches his finger and HE BOLTS FAST. Both trailer and spoilers point out that wooyeol won't be her EG. He has this date with yg and it goes well.. He has another date with her confirmed and another date with catfish where they are wearing matching clothes. Catfish also has several dates with seowon who looks pretty smitten with her . My main concern here is that gyuri and wooyeol dates all seem to be early on when the weather is colder , while his dates with the other two girls are later on when the weather is a bit more warm . Gyuri looking at someone teary eyed also reminds me of jumi when she was talking to gyeore at the finale (TRAUMA) . i don't think i can handle another heart signal trauma after last season. Another observation seowon and YG seems to be cheering each other on in scenario that could be interpreted as cheering for each about their partners not picking eo. I really don't want gyuri to be sad , especially since she has the softest heart 😭 minju is also my second favorite and doctor doesn't look like he actually likes her and their moments in the trailer are never happy

Same like . HOW? because wrapping this up in 2 episodes wouldn't feel compact rather rushed. Even just 2 more episodes are fine

For real! But i need all the lovey dovey dating moments. I am just afraid that what the director calls fillers is what i absolutely love just the mundane dating stuff 😭😭 . they need to say sike there is part 2 coming or an extensions. Because i need more ughh

According to the trailer catfish and seowon seem to be pretty mutual. Seowon has no feelings at all (unfortunately) for gyuri. Wooyeol is here to play . however , i don't think he will stray too far from gyuri..if he does , i see gyuri maybe getting to know the lawyer as a backup plan

Side note sungrook rational cell is so cute even tho always super exhausted

I have to disagree with you here. She is a close hoobae and you set your acquintances all the time with people in korea. She didn't do it with the intention to mess with the other person. In korea blind dates are very light hearted ..you could go to 20 blind dates. So again cultural context is important here.

That's literally an idol. That's not an actress. What you are describing having fans/building a fandom is all about idol and that's exactly why cdramas are never going to overtake. An actress doesn't need a fandom. It needs good dramas and that's it. Because they are actors they convey real situations and if the norm is always this. I cant possibly ignore the obvious . If they are not willing to cast 30 or even late 20s i am not going to bother . At the start it was cool new faces , but then new faces just kept coming and we have constant age gaps which i absolutely hate if its overdone. 6 year is an age gap so i am going to treat it as such . early twenties to 30 is a big age gap too because of the young age of the actress , so no its not just 6 years and i can't focus on actors.
