Thats excatly it. You liked it because of the actress but most of us liked the character of s1 and this didn't feel like a continuation of that but rather a new drama. Most people who liked it like yourself wanted to see the two actors be together in whatever. While the rest of us wanted a continuation of s1 that we loved.

It's not because of the actress change but rather the character change... The FL character is 100% changed from 1st season an amnesia that not only made her lose her memory but apparently her personality as well. She is a love struck Puppy that's all she is through the entire series. To recap she changed her body and her personality, what is remaining of her excatly? Nothing. She is a whole new person and the romance happens so fast that it felt like cheating and he said it himself, he didn't care if she was mudeok or not. Another issue is that we were teased and promised a powerful fl that just never appeared ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ this is supposed to be the sequel where we get the original naksu after all right? Well wrong and that's goes to all the women in this sequel all have been debufed. What left to like is two good looking people being in a shallow romance. That's why many people dislike it and some people like it

One of my all time favorite Korean dramas is alchemy of souls 1 but Jang UK is so far from being the best male lead. He literally forgot about his love mudeok and fell for naksu/buyeon ep 2 and at the end he said that it didn't matter if they were the same person or not. Gwangsik would never!!
