Saying Goodbye to DareYouToDeath

I was completely on edge when it came to Jay. I genuinely kept thinking Jade-Kamin wouldn’t make it in time. The suspense was intense, the reveal of the killers and their twisted mindset was unbelievable, and forcing Chereen and Champ to decide their own fate was absolutely brutal. Those moments were some of the most gripping in the entire series.I loved seeing our favorite duo, Joong-Dunk work together on this case one last time. After following their careers for years, you can truly see how much they’ve grown. Their acting has matured so beautifully, and their chemistry is through the roof. They always deliver, no matter what they’re given, and their passion and dedication to these roles were outstanding. I couldn’t be prouder — well done, guys. We’ll always support you in your future projects, together and individually. That said, I was a little skeptical about the ending, especially regarding the police corruption angle. The case was clearly massive, with powerful officers and influential people involved, yet we didn’t get proper closure on that part. Something that big deserved at least some resolution. We also didn’t see Nikolai after Episode 9, which felt like a missing piece. He had been working closely with Kamin on the drug case for so long, and so much of that storyline was left unseen and unsaid. It leaves us wondering what becomes of Kamin’s career and how Jay is coping after all the trauma and loss. The ending felt slightly rushed in that sense.Still, I want to take a moment to thank the entire cast. Chimon Wachirawit Ruangwiwat as Charm was incredible — he had me so frustrated at times, which just shows how well he played the role. Aungpao, June, Pahn, Sing, Ashi, Ohm, Prom, Earn, Marc, Fluke, Sammy, Boon, Aou — everyone was amazing. Even the “naughty” characters who didn’t make it to the end gave powerful performances.Thank you to everyone involved in Dare You to Death. I’ll definitely be rewatching it on Netflix. Goodbye DYTD — you’ll be missed, especially JoongDunk.

They Delivered.!

I'll be lying if i had to say i noticed a few things since EP1. I had to go back and watched again, just be sure. I've been praising the casts and crews for so long that i omitted the Hair and MakeUp stylist. What does have to do with DYTD? Well everything.! Kamin is one exhausted Cop. He hardly sleeps and is always putting work first. Maybe he never had anything else to focus on? Maybe he has some deep unsolved trauma from his childhood? The more i watch him, the more im convinced something is up. I dont know his background story, and i cant wait to read the book. EP4 had showed me how much Jade has and is impacting his life, with something little as sleep, laugh. Making him smile. I really really love Dunk Natachai for the role of Kamin. He's exceptional. He plays it beautifully. His expression is always on point. And the way Kamin notice the small details around him is very crucial to the case. He doesn't voice it out loud but he does pick up on things quietly. Joong as Jade is pretty much playing himself, lol. I adore him. I love his cheekiness and the love he has for his brother Jay. Yes they bicker alot and its fun to watch. But the love between those two runs deep. I love how he was there for his brother and how worried he is that he rather have Jay with him everyday than attend school. The murders are concerning. Again, i am not against the murderer here. Yes its wrong for them to play God but Goooosh. Those kids, man! My hope now for the rest of the series is to get a new OST. We need more diverse music to be use and play in certain situations. While i enjoy the little sound effects they use in between funny scenes, we need more. Favourite Quote: -Fine. Three days it is. But when we're on duty, try to be professional, okay? -I can do that, of course. Watch yourself. You might be the one who cannot handle it.

A promising outcome

Let me start by saying that im not against the Murderer. What kind of friends are these people anyway? Seriously. Im very much concerned as to what Jay could have possibly done as well. The case of getting trickier and more complicated. But trust in Jade and Kamin to handle this. I love their professionalism, their expressions and how they react under pressure. Especially if that said pressure is coming from work. If you've watched today's episode, you'll understand my frustration as to who says that to a fellow Officer in your station?! Uh.In this episode we also got to experience a little worry, shocked, happy romantic moments, friends deciding whom to trust, and fright. Im really loving Dunk's acting. He's facial expressions to everything Jade is funny and very real. I want to know more about his background because what was with that face? Has no ever done that for you Kamin? Cant wait for the next episode.

Jaw dropping reveals

Wow… just wow. This episode completely threw me in a loop. From start to finish, Joong and Dunk kept me on the edge of my seat. Honestly, these two never fails to surprise me—they have this uncanny ability to do the unexpected, to push the boundaries of what I think I know about them and somehow still make it feel natural and real. Every scene with them had this mix of tension, charm and subtle brilliance that I can’t stop thinking about.Kamin’s suspension raised the stakes even more. The moment where Jade calls Kamin because he missed him and Kamin in return sending food support as encouragement… ah, the chemistry! They clearly can’t survive not working together. The cuteness and the longing—they’re like a living teenage crush come to life. I was swooning. The suspense escalates when Kamin goes to check on Jay, only to find him missing and the police officer unconscious. En route to track Jay down, Kamin's phone dies in the middle of a call with Jade. Just when he was expressing his love (was that a goodbye i love you? Felt like it). I mean—they need to walk around with a charger for heaven's sake. They're cops! Jade’s worry and immediate instinct to follow him shows just how tightly their fates are intertwined. Just when you think it can’t get more intense, hydrofluoric substances were said to have been found at the suspect's warehouse. Enough to blow a house up!!! The Truth-or-Dare cards leading Jay to a house? Genius tension-building moment that got me so mad. When the culprit finally revealed himself—and his accomplice—my jaw literally dropped. I sat there, speechless. I did not see that coming. It’s one of those moments that hits you out of nowhere and makes you replay the episode in your head immediately. The storytelling, the suspense, the way everything comes together—it’s just masterful.Honestly, Episode 9 reminded me why I love this series so much. Every twist, every reveal, every little moment between the characters makes it impossible not to be hooked. Joong and Dunk continue to elevate the series, keeping me guessing, entertained and emotionally invested. I can’t wait to see how the final episode tops this.

When Fear Pushes Love Away

This episode is heavy in the best way. Kamin’s guilt over his past mistake explains so much about why he tries to push Jade away. It’s not distrust — it’s fear. Fear of repeating history. Fear of losing someone he loves again.Jade stood his ground! This proves how strong he is, not just as a cop but as Kamin’s partner. When Kamin uses his authority to force him to step back, it creates one of their most intense conflicts yet. They both worry, they both care, but they express it differently. To release tension - Kamin brought Jade to the gym. The boxing gym scene is symbolic — strength, resilience and trust. Jade reminds Kamin that he isn’t responsible for everything that went wrong in the past. That reassurance feels earned and sincere.I didn't like that Kamin got suspended. But its understandable. We got come cute scenes from his suspension - lol. Him driving Jade to madness. NEW OST : “Wordless” by Dunk - Another added emotional layer to the series. The song reflects the quiet devotion between them — love that doesn’t need dramatic speeches to be real. His voice truly elevates the atmosphere of the series. Dunk's voice is always a weakness of mine. I will be listening to this for a lifetime. I can’t wait to see how Episode 9 unfolds.

Even If I’m Not Good: Most Heartbreaking Confession

This episode raises both the emotional and psychological stakes. The sweet date scene between Jade and Kamin makes you feel safe for a moment - then everything unravels with the news about Time. The pacing keeps tightening, especially when the dare letter arrives and reminds them they could be next.Kamin trying to handle everything alone by sending Jade away shows how deeply he's affected, but it only creates distance between them. Jade feeling pushed out of the case adds another layer of tension that feels painfully real. The confrontation and apology scene is the highlight. Kamin's vulnerability when he admits he hasn't shared his full past, and his plea - "Even if I'm not a good person, please let me love you" - reveals his fear of being unworthy. Jade's answer reassures not only Kamin, but the me too. It's such a strong declaration of unconditional love. The release of Joong's song "(Doubt)" makes the episode hit even harder. The song's message about insecurity and questioning love reflects exactly what Kamin is going through. Everything - from the dialogue, the tension, the music - comes together beautifully in this episode.

Bonds Tested by Death

Episode 6 of Dare You to Death raises the stakes in a way that feels both thrilling and unsettling. The challenges move beyond physical danger and begin testing fear, loyalty, and emotional endurance. Every decision feels heavier this time, and the tension is constant, making the episode gripping from start to finish.A major highlight of this episode is the development of Jade and Kamin’s relationship. Their growing trust adds emotional depth to the story, especially as the pressure intensifies. Watching them rely on each other in such a high-risk environment makes their bond feel genuine, and it also raises the emotional stakes—what happens to one clearly affects the other. This trust doesn’t feel forced; instead, it builds naturally through shared risk and vulnerability. We also get a surprise development from one of the kids that is genuinely shocking and completely changes the tone of the episode. It’s the kind of moment you don’t see coming, and it leaves a lot of questions about what this will mean moving forward. The episode ends with that uncertainty hanging in the air, making it hard not to immediately want the next episode.Overall, Episode 6 stands out as a turning point in the series, combining intense suspense, emotional character growth, and a twist that has us eagerly waiting to see the outcome.

A thrilling discovery

I started EP5 with so much fear. I was thinking about Jade all week and what Kamin is expected to find. But this is not the usual American Police-Thriller drama. Its more ....soft? (though many who had read the book claims differently.) Implying that police work is partly a matter of adopting a persona, Joong and Dunk plays with different levels of realism. I love how Jade and Kamin are good cops working together for the better of the good. They have to deal Mafia gangs, drugs dealers and deaths whilst trying to understand their own growing relationship or is it still situationship..? between a Boss and His Subordinate. How, oh, how will they crawl out of this mess? Clearly this case is deemed as an utmost importance. A time-critical operation that involves a lot of people. I'm very worried for them. Who can they trust? My POV: Kamin came to Thailand with purpose. I cant wait to learn more about this. I gotta give it to Jay for this episode. He was amazing and got me so emotional when talking to his brother. Shed a few tears - as its true! How can one talk to a person if you don't listen? Oh and SURPRISE.!! New Characters unlocked.! I missed them sooo much.JADE babe, I'm routing for you. I hope you get what you asked for. Fight-On.!Wow its getting long, I'm stopping here with my favourite Quote for Ep5:This kiss means I'm worried.:When i say I'm worried, I don't say it to just anyone.

Oooh so we went a little darker

Im someone that loves reading and watching dark novels/movies. I thought after EP1 we wouldn't be surprised anymore, but i stand corrected. I do not want to go into the full graphic detail. That person deserved what happened to him. Shocked me. How could HE?!!!! Is this driven by revenge? A game? Hmm that remains to be seen. I was full on supporting one of the kids but now everyone has me questioning who could the killer be? We got a little touch of love interest as well. I enjoyed how Jade is driving Kamin crazy, lol. His way is much much different from how Kamin usually works. Every Kamin needs a Jade in their life to bring to lighten them up once in a while. Hehe. Again im especially proud of Dunk. He went above and beyond for his role here and i fully support him. Im loving how unaffected by 'someone' he's trying to pull. His facial expressions when getting serious. The way he carries himself (Joong as well infact). Their outfits are amazing and totally suits their roles. Cant wait for EP3. See y'all after New Year .

Hands Down a Giant 10 stars!!! ⭐

JoongDunk has nailed it again with this Romantic, Suspense/Thriller, Comedic Series! I love how this hooked me quickly, kept me wanting more once i completed EP1. The story had me guessing and entwined. Look at me piecing up the investigation alongside Inspector Kamin and Capt. Jade. Loved how they met. And yes, the driving was horrible Inspector. No excuses. Dunk Natachai is so into his role. His expressions and visuals are awesome. And Joong Archen showing his playful but very serious personality. I like the easy going persona they gave him. I honestly he is himself here. Jade is Joong. Joong is Jade The kiddos are delivering as well. They've worked so hard on this project and wish for everyone to support them. Cant wait for EP2. Who the hell is killed that girl?
