For me it wasn't too much as the series started with both the brothers going to mountains and the development of main characters and their story. I could understand it would be better if we have known about Tian's story before also it was out of blue that the mother comes out cruses him for some reason unknown it was definitely all of a sudden but still the story has just started as they have come out of the mountains to their normal routine, we have 10 more episodes I guess it will get better.
