its really hard for me to watch this episode(9) because so many character with awful personality just shamelessly…
Totally agree. I had to stop watching at the first court scene of ep. 9 when it was relased because it was so infuriating and i might pull all my hair out. Took me half a day to be calm and finish it. Lol
Most episodes (if not all) are frustrating me. Can't they humiliate the bad guys a bit more? It feels like our leads are always on the losing side. I know it's wrong to wish for a person to be humiliated, but the villains here are so evil i don't think i can ever symphatize with them. Ever. I can feel my wrinkles getting more visible every single time i see them. And when they start talking, i just want to shout out of annoyance and frustration.
I hate that prosecutor Jin. And that assemblyman Ko. And his son. And that police officer (detective?). And those two reporters. And Sol B sometimes irritates me. And their annoying (a lot of times) classmate Ye Beom. And how can I forget Lee Man Ho. Lol. A lot of characters in this drama will give me high blood pressure. Still an awesome show though. And badass MCs.
How do you know they changed it? I keep seeing people talk about it. Was is in an interview or something?
They delayed the release of some episodes for a week. And i think i saw a preview before that looked like Mr. Cho died. I'm not really sure though. I might be imagining things.
His death was totally unnecessary. I hated that. He deserved so much better. They could have let the poor guy…
They probably wanted an impactful death. I agree though, his death could be avoided. His character development was the most beautiful for me. It was so pure. So much happened to him but i felt like he was untainted.
True. And that Vincenzo reminiscing Han-seo scene, about the tracking device, made me sob harder. He was so pure.
It's crazy though. How they played with our emotions. Ep. 19 preview made me believe (at least about 80%) that Hansoe would die. And then 19 came out, he didn't. I was so sure he would survive. But then they actually killed him. Everyone involved in this series did a really great job, honestly, in my opinion.

Yeah. Also, i was really disappointed with Vincenzo when Han-seo died. I felt like he didn't do his best to save him. It's understandable tho since Chayoung was there, and she's his priotity. So seeing that Vincenzo-Hanseo scene at home made me really happy, knowing that they probably bond more times than we know. Hahah
CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE WAY THEY MADE IT SEEM LIKE MR. LEE HAD DIED JUST TO SHOW HIM WITH HIS CHILD AFTER????…
I was so mad when i thought they killed him. I mean, killing him wasn't necessary. And then that scene came, when he showed up, i was laughing so hard. I got fooled. I loved it though.
I want to give it a 10. But remembering Han-seo, makes me rate it 9.5. His death is acceptable and somehow necessary. But he's been through so much since childhood, so i was really hoping for a better future for him. Still, this series will always be one of my top favorites.
The comments section is filled with disappointed viewers who liked the original cdrama. Not invalidating you guys,…
Agree. I don't think this adaptation needs to be on par with the cdrama. I honestly think it's nice that we can watch a more light hearted version of ALSB. It's also cool to see the same characters with a bit diff. personalities than the original ones. It's like watching the same drama in a different perspective, if that makes sense.
I like it. It feels like I'm watching a really refreshing animè. I don't really mind that it's fast paced. I love the original but I also love the new tone of this adaptation. I just hoped that the episodes weren't this short.
I need a Blu-ray and a character guide to keep as memorabilia.
