I found it interesting that her character was the one to go forward with the kiss (from what I remember at least) and it's true they have pretty good Chemistry. I don't remember her kissing like that in Kill Me Heal Me or Secret so maybe it's a new thing? I'm really excited to see what happens--it's not like the drama plot is like new or whatever but the characters feel pretty different given the actors.
Currently on Episode 11...I really like HJE and NGM's chemistry. Her chemistry is also pretty good with Tae Joon. I was actually surprised at how natural his acting feels at times. I don't feel for the second male nor the first male lead. I just want a funny entertaining story, and it's giving me that.
HJE's character seems very childlike and sincere at times, which I think gives her a bit of depth to her character. It works with her getting along with and wooing NGM's character. While there is some moment where I'm screaming at him when he says stupid things, he has enough sense to think after that it was a mean/rude thing to say which already derives from the how we saw him as the first series began. Anywas we still have a long way to go so I'm looking foreword to it.
Having a drama which is shorter than usual, give it time to settle into its own. Even with HJE's character being pretty outlandish and idiotic, it gives her character some sort of charm that lets you relate to her more rather than a lot kdrama leads (HJE is a good actress and that can act well with what she's given). She is typecasted (let's face it) and even I hoped this role didn't involve that. Although I haven't exactly watched anything with NGM in it he personally seems like a person who cares about the roles he acts in, so I'm hoping for the best here.
I thought it kind of witty with it's set up, which is why I kept watching Because Its My First Time even though the development is slow. Maybe I'm weird? Maybe I don't like things to go at a fast pace? I still think even if think something start's out boring, you should still see it through if it's promising to you at first. That being said if you don't like HJE's acting in this I always recommend you check of Kill Me Heal Me or She Was Pretty.
