Honestly, the manga is one of my favorites. It is so so so good. I reccommend it
I would say watch both all together at one time if can. Also if you can read the manga! So much more stuff happen in the manga that they did not put in the movie or drama. Mars is a great manga and a must read the manga goes so much deeper and darker in the story.
