Another Classic
This drama was so good. I usually do not post reviews unless a drama is a 10/10 or I have something to say about it.100% this drama will be another classic.
I originally picked it up and dropped it when it first came out as I’m not good with waiting each week for episodes to come out. So I finally decided to give it a second try, and I’m so glad I did.
I absolutely loved everything about this drama.

Heartbreaking Ending
This was such an amazing drama.The ending was supposed to be on somewhat happy, but it left me absolutely broken, it is beautifully written, but so heart wrenching.
Jang Bong-Hwan literally lost everything; his soul mate King Cheoljong, the baby they conceived out of their love for each other, and the friend he made.
Cheoljong lost the person who he was actually in love with him. Him saying ‘I feel like I have lost something’, and him noticing that So-Yong is not the same.
There was just so much lost and what if’s at the end.

This drama had me in a choke hold. I laughed, I sobbed, my heart broke and mended. It was so good.I’ve been in a K-Drama slump for a while, and chose to watch this. 100% recommend. I loved it so much. I now have a drama hangover and don’t know what to do next. This is definitely one I will rewatch in the future. One of the best drama I’ve see in a while.
The acting, the chemistry, the side characters, the production, the music, and the story. It was just perfection.
I usually don’t write reviews, but this drama is review worthy!

It had the potential to be better.
I don’t write drama reviews often, and this is solely just my opinion, no hate.I originally wanted to give this drama a 7, but when I went to write this review, I realised that a 6.5/10 is the true and fair rating.
I’m going to keep this short even though I have a lot to say. I absolutely loved season one, but I understood the direction the writers were taking with season 2, it was just the delivery of it.
Season 2 wasn’t bad, it just lacked what season 1 had.
The whole season just felt rushed.
I found myself bored for about 50% of the drama.
Would I watch season 2 again, most probably not.
