I really liked it. The only thing I find strange is Wussy. At the beginning it looks like the show revolves around the four rookies. But Wussy has some character development at the beginning, and completly disappers after the half-way mark. He is only there for some one liners.
So it seems like SBS doesn't want to produce more morning daily dramas. I have to admit that I didn't like the dramas in this slot beside Mom has an Affair. But still as a fan of family dramas this is a bad sign.
Maybe daily dramas will go the same way as weekend dramas. First SBS cuts, than MBC cuts and than only KBS will produce any. Would be a shame. Family dramas are my favorite K-Dramas.
Given the last works of the writer I guess this will be quite melodramatic? But it has Comedy as a genre so let's see. After Revolutionary Sisters I need some feel good drama.
For a daily drama it is really unique. It has some sitcom elements, but it still has overarching plot points. Also it is nice to have a daily drama that has family conflicts as its topic and not some evil scheming antagonist. Usually the big cast is just there to set up the four main characters. But here they use it really well.
that reating comes from two years wait. it will go down.
Rom-coms are simply the most popular genre on MDL. Genre bias seems to be part of the score. We didn't have many Rom-coms from Korea this year, so the first decent looking ones create hype.
She would never know, Vincenzo and Secret Royal Inspector. (Beyond evil and River Where the Moon Rises look good, but I didn't get to watch it.) For me that's it. Kind of disappointing this year. (looking at you LUCA)
If you count daily dramas, I can add Be my dream family.
For some reason this daily seems better than the current KBS weekend drama. I wish people would give it a chance. I care about most of the story lines so far, but I want to know more about Sang Min.
I just don't get how the producers and writers can make so many mistakes. Historical dramas are nothing new. They should know how to produce them. Just stupid. But was there no way to fix the drama?
I just love the more "mature" and slow-burning romance stories. I like how it has comedic elements, without returning to the standart K-Drama rom-com formula. It would be nice if we get more dramas like this and "One Spring Night".
