Yeah Netflix actually edited some scenes out. I wonder if Netflix made changes on the older kdramas I was super excited to see they added a bunch of classic shows and I plan on rewatching them despite the minor changes. 😩

Some plot points had me in disbelief and made me laugh several times at how nonsensical and silly they were but it’s just a drama where you turn off any logic in your brain and enjoy the show for what it is. The finale was wild and the writers could’ve greatly improved it but instead it derailed into idiocracy..

Wow I don't know how I feel about this.. I love Shen Yue and I'm here to support her and the fact that she's been paired with both versions of Dao Mingsi is kinda funny, but the romance might feel weird for me cause of the age gap

I agree with your thoughts. I was happy until the last episode which should've been a more realistic wedding scene, it felt a bit rushed and odd but I really love Shen Yue and Dylan Wang together in this drama. I can forgive the ending only because the producer Angie Chai gave us the best and closest version adapted from the manga storyline. Now to rewatch this remake, cry and suffer all over again....

Loved it hopefully there is a season 3 that focuses on adulthood and explores the challenges of life. Uehara's character really shines this season he is more kinder. Natsume was my favorite he is charming and a likable character, just watch his eyes and how they convey so much emotion it hurts.

It's been a few days since I finished both seasons and the movie and now I'm suffering from withdraws. Can't get the beautiful song 'Flavor of Life' by the amazing Utada Hikaru out of my head. This show has a nostalgic and magical feeling to it making it a timeless drama. A must watch for everyone!
