I liked this show more than 2gether. I laughed at FUTS so many times and I started yawning only after episode 10 (well... after all it was 4 am lol) My fave actor here was Phuwin he is very good at showing emotions only with his eyes. If this drama will have a second season I will watch it for sure.

I'm talking about that one scene between YXS and FYJ in episode 6 - I hate when they are doing that in bl dramas and movies, it's wrong but somehow it's normalized just stop...
Overall l liked the story and acting. I hope that they will keep making those 'HiStory' dramas.

I don't understand why people are comparing those 2 dramas. The only thing they have in common is 1. Bromance/Bl and 2. Genres... the story and characters are TOTALLY different. I love The Untamed but come on. No need to shit on other Chinese dramas with a bl theme. It goes for both sides of course.
This is one of the best drama that I saw in my entire life. I'm not talking only about the bl or bromance category but I'm talking about everything that I watched. The story and acting were breathtaking. I saw Simon Gong in another drama but how he played his role here was very different, such a great and versatile actor, I fell in love once again. The rest of the actors also did such a wonderful job, especially Zhang Zhe Han. This is the first time that I completed a long historical drama in 3 days, it tells a lot about how good it was - I literally couldn't stop watching, I watched it from 4 pm to 5 am one day... Can we talk about the main actor's chemistry? Their chemistry was amazing, you could feel their love through the screen. I love them so much :( There were also so many flirting and touching each other scenes I'm surprised that they didn't cut it from the drama (Chinese ban says hello) haha! My heart is still aching when I think that it's the end. I couldn't stop crying from the wedding part until the end my eyes are still red now, but I know that I still want to watch this drama again even if it means that I will cry, it's worth it. I will read a novel now and after that, I will rewatch this masterpiece. This drama deserves a 9.0 + score on MDL, don't be shy give it a 10 :D

What? Suzy's improvement in acting is insane since her first dramas... it's clear that you have something against idol actors and you never watched more than two of Suzy's dramas.
I don't think that their hugs or kisses were awkward, I think that they tried to show Yoichi's disorder... as you can notice he was barely talking with people and he probably never had any skinship with them. Things he experienced with Sakurai were all new to him. Overall it was cute, beautiful, acting was also good. I really liked this story.
