I lijed her so much in Love Your Enemy. Good acting, incredibly beautiful smile, perfect actress for school love dramas like True Beauty or Dream High, IMO. Would love to see her more. Same goes for the male actor who played Seok Ji Won in school.
8/10 for me. Fun, good story, lightheaded in general, sometimes stupid but yet incredibly cute despite all the drama. Scriptwriter did a good job to make the story deep enough, dramatic on edges but still focused on main character's development and relationships most of screen time.
Love Park Bo Yong and her mimics since Oh, My Ghost.
IMO it's 7/10. The good story and cast. A-Ok music. Everything is good in general, except for the sudden romance. It was so hammered into the script that it totally destroyed the atmosphere. Like, well... "hey, viewer, we know you wanted some romance and we never hinted at it throughout the whole series, but we absolutely sure you wanna see some... here, take it in the last 10 minutes. Why? Just because. We don't care for reasons". I absolutely liked the pairing in general, but it's more underdeveloped than any underdeveloped planet in the Star Ocean series...
It's nowhere close to the Lawless Lawyer, btw. In all aspects.
IMO this drama is worth your time only if you really like to watch Kim Too Jung acting. She's beautiful and fun here in many scenes. Everything else is a waste - an uninteresting story, primitive romance, absolutely no chemistry between mains (a lot more of it between secondary couple despite their screen time is less than ~20 mins. in the show's total), etc.
This drama worth your time only if you looking for a great ML-FL chemistry and incredibly beautiful FL. The story itself is just A-OK.
I'm surprised to see a lot of comments about "too low rating", because 7.7 is even more than this drama worth. Maybe the reason is the same as in video games reviews — people thought that everything below 8 is 'bad'. But it's not true, 7+ is a good score, and even 6+ isn't bad as well. Rather mediocre.
Decided to watch this drama after 'May I help you" with Hye Ri as MFL as well. Now I'm at ep4 and can say: after recently watched 'May I help you', 'Oh my ghost' and 'Backstreet Rookie' where MFL and MML had a great chemistry between them, this one looks quite boring. And 2ndML, Sun Woo, annoys me a lot. As well as Lee Dam stupidity around him, when she just can't say a simple "gtfo" to the guy. Maybe the thing is I dislike people like this irl as well, hm...
The fun thing is this rom-com is full of cliches, yet it's not annoying. Each and every episode gives you an 'oh, I saw it in Secretary Kim/other dramas' vibe, but it's a perfect piece to watch in the background during some routine - while grinding in some game, doing some templates for work, etc. 6/10
Watching ep. 5. The drama feels good, but I really hate Hong Baek Gyun character. Impossibly stupid and annoying imbecile, despite the high IQ. And there's no chance they will kick him off, bc he's a "main character" here, sadly.
Loved this drama up untill the last 23 minutes of the last episode. Wow, the script writer is truly amazing person, you know. Because you need to be an amazing and creative to be able to screw up exactly last minutes of the show, while everything before is really good, even top-notch from time to time. Wow.
Still can suggest to watch it. Just stop at 45:45 in the last episode, and consider drama finished.
Not sure how old are commenting people below but I like the show and characters. I'm almost 35 yo, have a wife and kid. And I know a lot of people IRL to be similarly naive as FL of this show, or similarly kinda douchebag like ML. Besides, you should take into account that in Asia a lot of stuff regarding relationships is very different from Western world, especially USA.
I recommend this drama to everyone who like to watch lighthearted, naive but fun and heartwarming story. Some moments here are really great. Han Ye Seul is awesomely cute, and Sung Joon also plays his role quite good.
