I absolutely agree with you regarding the number of couples , having 2 mains and about 4 other couples is kinda hectic for any series.

And I guess it may look abit fake here and there but I've seen that smile in his other shows so I guess I'm more used to it XD

Mmhm I definitely agree with you on the editing part , for as long as I remember , the editing part has been mentioned quite a bit by fans. And personally I find it abit of a problem as well , (makes the show uneven like you said.)

Having too many couples is also another problem , the balancing isn't there and hopefully they can improve on that :(

According to the description and what I've seen around , I think they are considered one of the main couples.(not 100% sure though) (Cause Jimmy and Tommy were tagged as main roles here )

Agreed, it's definitely not the worst pacing bl I've ever seen. I think it's just some minor issues when the team was deciding the way to split screen time for the couple's , (as we can see in ep 8 when they just randomly inserted a scene for dew and blue and the team , it felt out of place when compared to the previous and after scenes ) .

And I'm so glad to see someone that thinks the same way , Saizon took a while to progress and "speeding " them up a tad bit in the previous 2 episodes seems valid since we have already seen FighterTutor development

After waiting a few days after the release of episode 8 , the comments are kinda blowing up about the screen time issue between the couples and some people disliking the fact that ep 8 is focused on Saizon.

Personally , I love both FighterTutor and Saizon. (Believe me , I initially came for fightertutor but I got so drawn in by Saizon due to their pure and progressive relationship)

Regarding screen time , I think the team didn't exactly plan out properly the way they should give each couple screen time. If we count the side couples , there's at least about 4-5 (if we include day and Hwa) couples in the series. And with only 13 episodes , I'm sure the team was in a dilemma when issuing screen time.

We have to admit that the previous episodes (before so 8) , it's mainly FT focused cause they ARE 1 of the main couples so we can't exactly complain about that. But we have to remember that SZ ARE also 1 of the main couples in this series and since we've seen how FighterTutor got together and their progress , I believe having ep 8 to focus on Saizon was kinda valid.

Saizon's progression was slow and pure since we know how complex of a situation zon got himself in , and seeing the progress to the first proper kiss made me feel that they deserved the episode . But next episode will be focusing on FT , so the team is probably trying their best to give proper screen time to the 2 main couples .

I kinda feel bad for the side couples with little screen time (and when they do appear it's mostly weird snippets here and there. )

Hwa's character seemed really rushly written, like one sec she's crying and getting angry over Fighter not loving her but the next she's with day being all adorable and couple like. It's kinda confusing tbh , but I'm still happy she is happy in the end ..

It's probably because FT was more focused on the previous episodes and the team is having a hard time splitting screen times for everyone.

Though this one episode is kinda whack (editing and some scenes were weird ) , I think it kinda progressed SZ's relationship quite well.

And don't worry next episode would be back to FT again , THE BEACH !

I think the reason that FT had such short screen time here was due to all the previous episodes where they had majority of the screen time , as both FT and SZ are main couples , I'm sure the team was having a hard time deciding how to split the series up in order for every couple to be "fair" . (Not to mention the 2 other side couples , I feel kinda bad for them cause they aren't shown that much :( )

And I respect your opinion , but I don't really think Tommy's acting was bad . I think he actually portrayed Zon quite well , like who wouldn't be panicking when the guy they were enemies with suddenly just whips for them? And they start developing an affection as well? He's little actions are kinda cute and funny .

This should be his first bl role if I'm not wrong and not to worry , next episode seems to be FT focused so our FT needs will be met !

I'm honestly in love with this series as of now , at first when i saw one of their interviews (i forgot which) , i was slightly disappointed with the lack of chemistry. (I don't mean fanservice type , they just seemed awkward)

BUT, AM I GLAD I STAYED. Their chemistry is so much better and they look so natural and relaxed in real life , and i love the way bright and win acted out their respective roles. I Can't wait to see more from them as well as the side couple!

At first i almost dropped the series due to the slow paced progress of the main couple , Ngl , i stayed for Winteam as well at the start. When i first watched it , the first scene was kinda "meh" for me and didn't really invoke any strong sad feelings in me , (not saying Earth's acting wasn't great , bruh that boy is AWESOME) .

But now that I've finished the show , i must say it's definitely worth the watch , Fluke's acting in here was marvelous , he portrayed the pain that IN had while still doing well as Pharm. He's acting really showed Pharm and IN as separate individuals rather than just 1 person and damn that boy can cry. ( Please stay hydrated fluke :( )

The story is really moving and honestly i'll give it a 8.5-9/10 (mainly the pacing issue ) , looking forward to the actors appearing again in the future.
