I know this comment section ain't calling Lee Jaewook ugly. I've seen it all, I swear. In what world is he considered…
It's sad, I feel as though Hong Min Gi might've got a lot of young and immature girl fans from being in Study Group and they're coming over here pooping on Lee Jae Wook for no reason when they're both great actors and handsome. I could be wrong, but it's the only conclusion I can come up with that makes a bit of sense.

Title The Guest Spoiler
The drama was going well, but I did not understand the ending. or maybe I understood but I just don't think the…
I think part of the point was that evil is never really all the way gone, there will always be evil people in the world wanting to cause harm, but they did succeed in getting rid of that spirit for now. The priest chose to sacrifice his life (The priest died for a second there if you look closely instead of Hwa Pyung, as it was prophesied one person would die, so something of the sort did actually happen to someone) for his friend so that he wouldn't die and managed to get Park Il Do cast out and back to the sea by using his one last exorscism on him. Then she swam around and pulled the priest out of the water to safety, he coughs up water and then is okay. I believe the reason for everyone being safe at the end was meant to be divine intervention against the spirit they were able to get rid of, which makes sense with the moral viewpoint the show comes from.

It's funny you bring this up though, I showed this to someone else and we both agreed that the ending you talked about and the actual ending to the drama could've both worked just fine! haha

Oh and the assembly woman was a screw up because they were planning a sequel movie with her as the main big bad I believe, but it never came to fruition. So ignore anything involving that character lol

Title Kingdom
i aint really a fan of historical dramas so it wasnt a cup of tea for me. the suspense and action was good tho.…
Did you ever make your way back to it? Season 2 goes right along with it and imo is better than 1. All the very important events finally happen, I believe it's not too long either just like this season.

I sure hope she only lost weight for whatever movie I see someone talking about with terminal illness and will gain some back. It's quite scary to be honest. She doesn't look like herself at all anymore and it looks like the light in her eyes is dimming exponentially. SK really needs to stop bullying people into anorexia and saying people are fat when they actually looked healthy to begin with. I'm actually quite alarmed...

And he literally has always looked like that, he's a natural beauty with much much less plastic surgery than 90% of them. He isn't ugly at all!

Title The Guest
This is one of my favorite kdrama. I'm desperately looking for similar ones vibe and theme wise with a dark spirit,…
I sadly feel The Guest is too unique for Kdramas that there really isn't anything similar. I've seen 90% of the horror Kdramas and not many deal with a similar subject in such a gripping way. I've heard "Revenant" is a popular recommendation for similarities. Although I tried watching a good chunk in hopes it would grab my attention just like this one did, i found it way too boring and more drama-like than a gritty horror/thriller. But you could give it a try if you haven't! People do like it though, simply could've not been my personal taste!

Title If Wishes Could Kill Spoiler
Waste of time in my opinion. Nothing is explained about how the rules of the world work so you're left confused 9/10, too many as someone said below, annoying pick-me girls that ruin my enjoyment of the show. There's a line when it comes to creating mean or purposely annoying characters, and this just crossed it for me. All it is is mean girls fighting one another over crushing on the same boy 24/7 - one of which in the past straight up beat the crap out of her. And instead of taking everything without a vengeful mindset and realizing who your true friends are and maybe who you should stop crushing on because they're a bad person and moving on, what better way to get revenge than commit suicide! very cliché and ridiculous.

It wasn't scary, but more frustrating and really boring at times. Roh Jae-won carried the show for me and ended up being the only reason I continued to watch until the end.

Temu version of Night Has Come.

Yeah - I hear ya - I was going to watch this and as soon as I saw that disclaimer, I was like “nope!”I don’t…
That's too true, sadly. Time to go back to the old books that we can all vouch for not being written by chatgpt, as that has also become rampant with books lately. AI is truly ruining creativity, while also ruining the atmosphere. No good has come from it at all.

Sigh, not the AI disclaimers again. I kiiiind of wish an evil person of power gets screwed over by AI and then they'll stop using it simply out of spite 😔💀

Oh no, just starting off I'm spotting a scene or two that look AI generated/tweaked 😭 it looks so bad and eeriely fake.

Title The King of Pigs Spoiler
Not bad, but predictable. It's not that I hated the ending, I saw it coming from a mile away and it made sense, but I'm getting real sick of every character that does something wrong dieing instead of getting jail time and every kdrama making a spectacle of suicide. You want to change the way your country thinks about it and lower those numbers to save human lives, stop making it some kind of noble thing to do or like it's somehow going to get revenge, because all you're doing is hurting yourself. You've got to be alive to change something. I'm not missing the point of the show, I understand the point they're trying to make and many characters are in the grey area, but the moral is questionable from many dangerous angles of what message it's trying to send in the end. Their media portrayal of why and how people commit suicide so flippantly just gives people ideas instead of prevent it.

Can everyone please use the spoiler tags? you're literally spoiling everything for everyone before they get a chance to watch the show. Parts of it are supposed to be mystery and you guys are outright saying stuff that isn't supposed to be said.

⚠️ Warning to anyone trying to browse the comments to see if it's worth watching, don't look at any of them, because people are spoiling stuff left and right.

Same here. I'm primarily a Kdrama watcher and it's common for the endings to be rushed, so it's nothing new haha

Would you mind not completely spoiling, but alluding as to why the ending was disappointing? That would suck if the whole thing was good but the ending was lackluster. I can't get over a bad ending, even if the rest is a 10/10. I don't usually watch romance, but i wanted to find something else with the ML ever since Rurouni Kenshin and this one is always recommended.
