Tomorrow is on my list. I’m quite new so I have a lot of catching up to do 😀 I will not watch Chicken nugget though- that’s too wild even for me 🤣

I mean we could go on with list of shows for a while, but another one that stands out is of course Squid game. That was about human choices and desperation and also issue of debts society created and how rich exploit it and have fun. But I feel like many people missed the memo and only labeled it as “too gruesome to watch” 🤷🏻‍♀️

I really hope Koreans will stick to great stories, but I can see glimpses of changes here and there especially from Netflix production- thankfully they are minor and not ruining the shows- yet.

I agree. Except half of the story wouldn’t pass the producers for this or that reason. Korea is still free of the crazy “rules” and they make it as they need. (Like Americans once did). That’s why I moved to Kdrama. I don’t want to watch shows suited to this or this group, can’t show this or that… I want to see stuff like it is and how creators intended.

I loved how they know they have problem with suicide in population and instead of hiding it or pretending it doesn’t exist, they created this masterpiece.

Healer is amazing. I chuckled when people complained about MMH being too long, while I think Healer should also have been only 16 episodes 😂

It was, but you have to understand she came from rich family and shot threats right after greeting. So even if Jiwon found the confidence, it was something that shaken her up. I can understand that. For me it was very hard to watch. Next episodes made up for it- for me at least.

Don’t know, they seem genuine 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t think they “had” to get married 🤔 Of course they going promote and stuff, it’s always the case.

Ah, I get it now. Thanks. It doesn’t change my opinion much though. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t that interesting to me.

There are shows that I wasn’t able to stop watching and/or couldn’t wait for new episodes to drop. This wasn’t the case and the ending didn’t convince me.

But like with everything I like the shows others despise 😁

I understand what they tried to do- something original, not the usual cliche.

But it ended where it started, except with God’s blessing- kind of.

Ending, where one of them is non human is not happy, since they can’t grow old together you know.
Maybe I didn’t understand the whole bet correctly, but it didn’t make sense to me. This God character kept saying they don’t meddle in lives, yet they returned him because of the bet? He clearly chose to die in her place, and yet this God took pity on him and returned him back into original self, not even making him human 🤷🏻‍♀️(which was his original form btw)

I don’t hate it, but it wasn’t that great. I liked the past lives- always do. The ending wasn’t good- for me anyways. Everyone was praising it and when I finished watching I thought- what the heck was that? You know.

I was thinking about this for weeks after I finished watching.

Death’s Game and Killing Vote had me glued to the screen as much Worst of Evil.

Problem these days is, everyone is pushing their narrative. Reviews should be guidance, not “order”. Everyone should think and be able to decide for themselves.

On the other hand, everyone should accept people who liked it as well as those who didn’t.

For me it was just okay, it wasn’t kind of show that would blew my mind.

OST was great I’m sad they haven’t released it yet.

And globally it’s successful as well. It says a lot, about online/ discussion perception and actual success 😳

Exactly. I keep thinking how else it could’ve played out without Yura, but each scenario I can think of, I don’t like 😂 She was perfect pawn for them to execute the revenge.
