I don’t think he suffered with depression though. Given the information we have, he was just young guy not appreciative of life and “mocking” death because he wasn’t successful in goals he set for himself. So I don’t quite understand why depression is even brought up all the time. Maybe my interpretation is wrong but that’s how I see it. If he were punished for jumping off, he wouldn’t have gotten second chance. Also, it wasn’t the only point of the lessons- “guilting him” into thinking about loved ones. It was much deeper message and meaning. I assume depressed people think about their loved ones a lot and think about how their loved ones will feel once they’re gone, but they decide to “jump” anyway. It wasn’t his case- he didn’t think about his mom or his gf for a second.
I see a lot of people pointing out about mental illness issue. But in my opinion it was about faith and nothing to do with depression. That is why Death has punished him, because he defied God’s will.
I don’t think of it this way. By the way, what do you think negotiator tells a person who is about to jump off the roof or bridge? Exactly the same. It’s the only way they can change their mind.
You can't be serious right? Dude, THE WHOLE PURPOSE of the show was to make YeeJae realize what he did wrong.....HE…
With that perspective though, his mother had every right to jump off the roof as well right? Why she didn’t was the purpose of the show. That’s why the last one was most crucial, but also if she was for example third one, it wouldn’t be so impactful. He had to go through all the stages to understand and last one was revelation.
athe only thing I have to complain about it’s that this is a movie and not a drama should’ve been longer the…
I disagree. Drama would have unnecessary conflicts which would not resonate with the message. In this movie, the conflict was subtle -not to overshadow the importance of the meaning and message. It was done beautifully.
I just to say this one thing some shows here have a super inflated rating that don't represent the actual quality…
And some shows are super underrated, so overrating is compensation… Also, some people find quality in different things. For you ML was boring, but others will not agree with you. Simply because he was not. If you don’t see quality in this show and in ML it’s your loss and you maybe didn’t understand what it was about or what was purpose of this show.
The moment MDR decided to abandon her mother and be with Doc Hawan, was so satisfying for me.I really hate that…
I loved how he treated her, and how he encouraged her to do the right thing because he knew she was afraid and just needed affirmation it’s okay to let her go, but until then she never got one.
I've never seen Ji chang-Wook play such a dark role like this But it's good to see him in different roles! So…
It’s probably the only reason he agreed to do it. He deserves the praise and deserves all kinds of roles to show his versatility. But he also must come to realisation, that action suits him the best 🙈🤭 And this one, with dark side was such a treat to see ❤️
I’m not your “mate”. And that is the problem isn’t it. Nobody pays attention and is selfish. Ignorant are people who don’t follow rules and the ones like you defending them. If someone can find blue check I think they can find spoiler button as well… I don’t know what is your problem, guilty party apologised and put spoiler on, so why are you attacking me. I got my punishment already by having a movie watching spoiled.
