I don’t understand why people are saying the drama suddenly “turned into Squid Game” or that it’s copying…
Honestly, many people fail to see bigger picture. It was not survival game. (If anything, those four episodes in prison were survival quest 🙄) This was just means of entertainment for rich and bored people. Didn’t anyone listen Yohan how he explained the whole thing? Why he went to prison in the first place? Killing prisoners in stupid race without blinking an eye. Because “incidents” do happen in prison and nobody will be looking for them, while he needs “bodies” for the race. (Buying cars is much easier than getting people.)
Anything with action Wookie has me hooked from start to finish. This is not exception. I wish I could wait and binge, but my will is not that strong 😂 He is amazing. But I do fear, that due to maturity rating, it will be robbed of the awards… again🙄
On episode 4 now. As much as I would like ML to succeed in getting his revenge, I honestly can't imagine how he's…
They were very clear about TaeJung’s intelligence, perception and abilities. Yohan is also clever, but I think his dependence on others will be his demise. He has all the toys, technology and staff to rely on now. While TaeJung is forced to work with whatever he has at hand and he uses it to the full potential. So to me, he only needs to made him mad enough so he doesn’t think clearly and leave his buddies and arsenal behind and he’s finished.
It’s interesting how people lie about Mudeok killing Uk. From every comment I saw, it seemed she coldly stabbed him because she didn’t love him. Now that I saw it and learned the truth, I am kind of pissed. 🙄🤷🏻♀️ Why would people write such nonsense.
Second episde, those 13 minutes are EVERYTHING. (10:00-23:00). Wookie is really pushing himself, and dang it shows. I am watching second time since I can’t watch next release and I wish I had strength to wait and binge, but I won’t be able to resist. 🙈😁
Well, it was okay but less exciting than the previous ones. I didn't feel much towards the deaths and sacrifices…
Don’t know about legacy, but it wouldn’t be good pitch for investors found out he didn’t pay the winner. 😁Also it was some sort of twisted attempt at ending the chapter.
As the attachment to Gihun. They were partly same, but exact opposites. While Inho decided to turn evil and lost hope in humanity, Gihun never stopped believing, and always tried to avoid killing. I think he only killed Daeho personally. Even within the games none of the deaths were his direct fault. And Inho always kept him in the games, teying to break him a admit it. But Gihun never gave him the satisfaction and in this sense he won over him.
The ending in my opinion was perfect. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Not sure I was watching the same drama as some from the discussion. It was almost perfect. Reasoning below with…
- 12 episodes is perfect, not too short and not too draggy - chemistry between two leads was sizzling the whole time - background story was classic, but still great - the ending is easily explained: they stopped believing in destiny and each other, so fate would be getting them together again - second half of the finale was too realistic, so hence the criticism? I loved the fighting, it’s real and normal. Better than sugary non realistic theme - non toxic exes (yes, on the scale of the other FL’s drama and that character’s ex… this was nothing)
Wondering how much is scripted and how much is improv. (Meaning how much the actors actually know.) Pretty Boy Kim has me giggling everytime they say it 🤣
I just wish they put flashbacks first… half way through Juwon’s episode and I couldn’t remember what happened to his wife 😀 The fight scenes are something else. Quick and awesome.
Only if they dropped the catfishes… and let them know the ages. It started off as a great show with real marriage intentions in mind, and was flushed down the drain right after the return to Seoul 🤷🏻♀️
I stopped watching half way through, and catching up only now to see the WJ&JW couple. Too bad other couples didn’t make it. I don’t really count the other couple, as it seems only one sided. And though they “seem” to be together. After a while, if there is no public photos, it means they are not 🤷🏻♀️ There is simply no reason not to share it. Those who loved them would be happy and those with doubt would have to agree on them being genuine.
the only good "character" of this whole series was moon baek by the way
That was kind of the point, wasn’t it. He was also right about Lee Do becoming the sniper to sustain his thirst for blood. Moon Baek was really hoping for mankind to be different, but he was let down every single time. There was a lot of things that made you think. At least for me 🤷🏻♀️

I am all for beating up the bad guys, but this is too much, I mean she enjoys it too much 🤷🏻♀️🤔
