Yes, exactly. He was trying to be too nice, and didn’t know how to say no.
And to be fair, it wasn’t nice that Yi Do pressured him to give her assurance. It overwhelmed him and resulted in hurting her more.
If she let him be and didn’t seek assurance all the time, she also would have felt better.
I don’t mean to sound mean, but she gives me shallow vibe. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I feel and I think that’s the reason JM backed out.

Imagine if instead of JM it was Seungli- he’d be like: Oh, whatever. I just feel different. And wouldn’t have given it second thought. 😂

They are adults. Also if Netflix didn’t want to show it, it would have been cut out.

I think there will always be some people who are more popular than others- for various reasons.
But I wish for dates with each obe as well. For these ones- maybe always hobby of one of them, so they can a) see what they like right away b)instant click (or not) c) conversation opener

It’s not a bad thing you know. Spectrum is quite wide. It can be very mild or very strong. He is clearly showing few of the symptoms, but since he came to the show, he is brave. It will help him a lot.

But he does show sings of the spectrum. My son is on the spectrum too, although not diagnosed “officially”, and just mild version.

But when you check the common Aspergers symptoms, he has most of them. He is happy, sensitive & fun young man. But he is definitely not “normal” boy. Anyone who interacts with him will recognise it right away.

On contrary, when think about it- when you don’t at least consider it- he seems like silly man, unable to “man up” or “get it together” like some comments suggest, making him weak and pathetic.

If you take into account him being on the spectrum, you see him in different light and actually see the progress he made and the effort and you cheer him on ☺️

If they included boring stuff with other members, then they would had to cut short JM &JE content and everyone would go: OMG how can JM &JE end up together out of thin air. This way, if any critics bother to actually watch it, they understand why they make sense and why JM changed his mind etc. So I am happy they showed the journey, at least partially.
The fact many people skipped it and then complain... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well they definitely have a lot of courage to go on the show in the first place, showing their weaknesses and insecurities.
It’s easy to talk online. But you can see how nervous and anxious they were.

Same. Contestants are bound to make mistakes. Almost everyone in comments acts all superior like it’s really easy to handle emotions, being filmed and have it all together.
It is not easy.

It’s very hard to find those people though cause they’re hiding at home. So I understand some people have hard time believing such individuals exist.
But anyone can think of at least one shy person from school. Those are these guys.
And if they attended boys school on top of that, it’s no wonder they have no idea what to do…

Another problem is, that he may have been eyeing Ji Yeong this whole time, but it wasn’t shown to us. They only showed it in last episode…
The hate towards him is really uncalled for.

But he didn’t led her on. He truly thought he liked her.
But like you wrote, he is looking for something deeper. It’s not even about growing up like they showed us. It’s about principles- they don’t share any.
Another thing is, to us it seems so long, but it was barely a week.
So Yi Do has every right to be upset, but JM is not a bad person. He just handled it badly.
And to realise his own feelings is actually amazing.

Just the note for everyone hating on JM for lying.
Stop it… Unless you can honestly say you have never ever lied in your life.
(Especially lying out of embarrassment or shame.)
He was clearly having a hard time. Not knowing how to navigate his emotions.
I agree he could’ve handled it better, but he definitely doesn’t deserve the hate.

He’s definitely on the spectrum. It’s actually amazing he has the courage to be on the show. For once we see normal flawed people. You can’t really expect them to handle situations right, since they have no experience. But they learning a lot and getting better.

I agree about JM and YiDo not being a good match. They don’t have anything in common except physical attraction. And JM correctly recognised (even if it’s late) it and realised it’s not love. He was just trying to please her, but their conversations or interactions are not interesting.
With Ji Yeon he seems to be himself. Off guard, happy.

For the first time, I am not mad about the screen time. They did try to include everyone equally, but since no real pairs were formed, there is no footage to show 🤷🏻‍♀️
(Unlike other shows where there are always more couples to show but they don’t).

Then I have nothing more to report 🤣 Except Maai from Future Diary has also had a baby and they are married.
Keisuke and Noona had trouble conceiving, so they had to go via IVF.
