Just like all those people who were killing for “fun” and/or money knowing very well they could’ve walked away.
Honestly the first and last voting crushed me. First because many people had no idea it was life or death games, when they knew, they even didn’t kill anyone themselves, were kind of “fresh mined”, but still pressed the 🔵.

And last, just because they became greedy monsters unwilling to share what would’ve been a ton of money. 😢

Power. He got taste of it and couldn’t let go. VIP are funding the whole thing, of course he let them do whatever they want.
Inho became corrupt evil person. Nothing more to it.
That’s why he hated Gihun and kept him alive- he wanted to see him become just like him, but it didn’t happen.

Agreed 👍 VIP were representing our society and the top level people.
Gihun and Inho were opposites, who were in same situation. Except Gihun never accepted his dark side and tried his best to make a change. meanwhile Inho was at the top, able to make actual change, but he didn’t. I am pretty sure nobody pointed gun at his head and said, you have to be Front Man or else…

Just as Ilnam was curious about him in first season, Inho was waiting for Gihun to take the dark side- and he did, but only to survive or protect.

I never do that. I do sometimes irony and sarcasm, when people are illogical.
It was so hyped out, that people expectations were too great, you know. Meanwhile there really wasn’t much room to do anything (else).
Since second season “cards” were laid out, it was pretty clear.
I mean Wi Hajoon’s character was simple the whole time. Would it make sense if he suddenly became genius and saw through the deception and saved everyone? No.
Would it made sense if Gihun saved everyone, forgot and lived happily ever after? No.
Did everyone expect the game would stop if they destroyed this one. No.
It wasn’t about the ending the game. It about Gihun’s journey, him showing Inho how he should have behaved.
And about individual characters, which we loved and hated.

For me, the ending was most logical, even though heartbreaking 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s why I will not watch Us version. It will be unwatchable for me personally.
Of course Netflix butt in with their demands, and that’s also the reason why I think the end result still feels like Korean despite of that. If we got US verion of “ending” it would have been much worse.
I respect anyone dislike. But I don’t agree with jumping on hate train just because… you know. So I understand your POV even I disagree. But you yourself wrote we can disagree in good manner which is what I do.

I also dislike people downgrading for silly reasons, out of emotions. Like disliking Gihun’s sacrifice. So if he became same monster as Inho, people would be happier? Heck no. Any other ending than his death didn’t make sense. His sacrifice was meaningful and understandable.

You know what? I don’t care about his backstory. He turned evil. And whole point of Gihun was in the end to show him he is better man than him 🤷🏻‍♀️ (You know, after he learned everyone else has betrayed him).

222 she did try- they even showed it. She tried jumping on the spot, and couldn’t do it. So she decided not to play the game and satisfy the watchers and died on her own will.

As for 333- even if she accepted his help, he would betray her anyways. So again, refusing him was making her own will.
She did trust Gihun, and he would definitely came back, but you know everyone else was greedy enough not to care, so…

I was probably watching different show. I am very satisfied with the ending. But more so with the journey. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔Individual endings were more important than the overall one.

I don’t think the game “relocated”. I believe it was there (and all over the world in fact) all along 🤷🏻‍♀️Just my assumption and opinion.
And honestly, what other ending was everyone expecting? How else would you write it, just honestly curious. I don’t mean to be rude, but it’s very easy to say: Oh it’s crappy ending. But how else could it end.
There weren’t much more options to go with the second they decided to put pregnant woman into the game 🤷🏻‍♀️And if anyone thought that if Korean branch blew up it was over, they are naive. It’s classic good vs. evil. Evil will always survive no matter what, as the show showed many times during these seasons.
But there were also many good deeds, which we, as viewers should learn from. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Crunched through because of Wookie. It was a hard watch. I think Gilho is serious competition for John Wick 🙊

His whole family is amazing. I have never seen such amazing family in Kdrama. Clever, rational, loving and most importantly they didn’t play the “rich vs. poor” & “background” drama.
I always hated it and I hate it in kdramas.

I liked Justin. He was betrayed so many times. 😢And fought with all his might until the end. Unlike Sohee who folded everytime when feeling bad 🙄
They could have skipped whole finale and gave to HG for free just to spare her feelings 🤷🏻‍♀️

We don’t know and we won’t know. I hate HG the player. But it’s of course not entirely his fault because nature of the game not only allows it but encourages. But because of his high IQ I assume he lacks empathy which allowed him to be ruthless. I would never hate someone personally because of that though. Harin was female version of him with less luck on her side. It would be fun to see them in the finale 😅

Mixed feelings about it. I hate HG the player (know nothing about him personally, so I am not judging him outside the show).
I know deception and manipulation is allowed, but I hated it in first season and I hated it this time too.
On contrary it would be interesting to see them play fair and keep “alliance”. Making exception to lie about special rewards. And bluffing only within specific games, like poker etc.

But games, where it’s necessary to make an alliance to survive and then change whenever you want is kind of lame. Why make alliances in the first place. Prison group should have stick together only and don’t trust the team from top. It wouldn’t make any difference because they were eliminated anyways.
I think the alliances allowed top team to use prison gang as pawns. Not sure why they didn’t see it and realised it.
Not to mention what they did to Justin. That was horrible. He was amazing for holding the grudges and calling them out.
And I admire 7high for being emotional. All of them were so cool and composed, it was strange.
