I have to admit Jimin redeemed himself. He is doing all the right things. If it will be enough is yet to be seen.
Thankfully after many shows, I stopped being invested in it too much, since there is little chance of them staying together anyways.

But I like the concept and members. They are all nice.

Yes, exactly. She is clear with her choice. Woojae is very interesting and accomplished. I like him a lot.

Wow, what an episode. Revelations were super good.
Before I share my thoughts I would like to remind, that it’s a dating show and the cut is done as always- to give us shock moment, but I don’t give any value to it anymore. It’s misleading 😂
I mainly care about my favourite couple Woojae and Jaeyeon. We shall see how it goes, but I got impression she knew about his occupation, since he shared the life style and interest in art was obvious. He may be shaken at first, but I think they match well. I think she doesn’t want another lawyer or similar field. She wants to escape reality once she is not at work- that’s my guess from what I saw. And he can offer peaceful life outside the law. Even though he is now scared of all of the others accomplishments… following your dreams is not easy either. I will root for these two until the end ☺️

As for Jimin, it’s clear he will miss the opportunity to explore other options because of the fixation on Jaeyeon, which is a shame. She is just polite, but not interested in him.

And of course there is our heartbreaking Jiwon situation. I personally don’t see it as a problem, but I don’t think they will have enough time to sort it out. And they haven’t shared honest feelings about it yet. Of course they were shocked at first… We shall see.

I think he was more surprised than anything. He had no idea 😂 Haneul has awesome personality. She is cute and bubbly, I think he could benefit from having someone like that around- just my opinion. We shall see how it turns out- it’s still very early to make any assumptions. Since they have another 3 weeks left.

I don’t meam to be rude, but why not? If he is an artist, they usually cling onto this kind of items 🤷🏻‍♀️ It has totally different value…

Not fully satisfied with the ending, while I understand it; it’s sill so sad. He worked so hard, he deserves to be happy.
Bonus points for Kylie though, that was unexpected though given his lifestyle not surprising.

What I didn’t understand was, when they started living together, the second day, Harim dumps all her kids on Ricky because she has to work, but hosts said he had to work too.
So why she didn’t handle the day as usual? I don’t understand.

Ending is great, in my opinion. Makes sense and it needs to be this way, as whole point (besides love story) is mental health awareness.

Well I don’t mean to insult anyone, but I don’t think anyone dug this deep 😅 Gong Yoo being silly with Lee Dong Wook and seemingly perfect love story was apparently enough.
The bromance, OST and Grim reaper story is amazing though. (And if you forget why Shin became Goblin, the story is appealing enough).

Yeah… no idea 🤷🏻‍♀️However King told him to stay away from the place and if he ever returned he would kill him. So he returned knowing he will be killed, but I think he had no idea his whole family will die with him.

That’s what I mean with not enough explanation, right? They just tricked everyone with funny scenes, cute smiles and red scarf 😅

To me, he was punished for defying his king (whatever King did was separate issue, they are judged by the God individually). And probably for killing thousands of people. Because maybe, just as Euntak, he also defied his fate, when winning impossible battles. Thats just my interpretation.
So behind the Goblin entity he was given the punishment in form of sword and chance of redemption at the same time. Because I imagine he did a lot of good deeds in the hundreds of years as Goblin.
What I don’t understand is ending. (Maybe it’s just hidden in the name- Great and Lonely God. 😅)
I would have imagined him returning as human in his second life, so they would have three lifetimes together. But I guess in order to stay Great and Lonely, he only get to experience her three lifetimes and then be forever lonely 🤔
(If they didn’t open the 4 lives theme, I wouldn’t have given it second thought and it
would be perfect…)

Thanks. If I am bothered too much I might read up about Goblin, because he seems to be classic in Korean folklore, just as Nine Tailed Fox.

It just surprises me, that everyone is praising the show so much and noone is ever mentioning this detail 😅It’s the reason I didn’t like My Demon as much.
Goblin has GR & Sunny story & Goblin bromance which elevates it.

But it leaves me with so many questions…
I saw Touch your Heart first, and they were people saying, it’s basically GR and Sunny happy ending in another life. Which is kind of true, but because of that I put off watching Goblin for so long as I didn’t want to see their unhappy story. And I was shocked they did have happy ending in Goblin, with elaborate explanation on top of that 😅(I won’t question what was King’s soul doing for 600 years, before becoming Grim Reaper…)
And story about Goblin & bride ended when the sword got pulled out. Until then, it made sense. After, it was just some nonsense put together to give people seet happy ending. (Which is not true, because it ends same as it starts, minus the sword 🙄).

I still enjoyed it, but I wish the writer(s) thought it through until the end. Because it could’ve been even more epic.

The great thing about immature participants is, that you can see them change in front of your eyes in very short amount of time.
Love Village has “mature” participants, but I can tell you that some of them could learn a thing or two from these youngsters ☺️

Have you seen first season of Future Diary? It is similar concept. Loved it as well. You won’t regret it.

Love, love Japanese reality shows. And this one didn’t disappoint!
Usually, Japanese are more conservative and hold back a little (in comparison to dating shows from US or even Korea). But this new generation is not holding back and it was amazing!
They can make you believe it’s genuine and sincere. Visuals and editing was great.
Participants were so great at conversation. I hope some of them can continue their relationships ☺️

I thought so. I mean they give so much justification to the Grim Reaper and Sunny, explained everything and even though it was painful you knew it was right.
With Goblin, I feel like they forgot about his initial purpose and just concentrated on love story. Which was cute and sweet and everything, but it didn’t make much sense. I know he made a promise, but that seems like a weak reason to defy fate and everything. Thanks for the reply though.

Only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t explain Goblin entity and reason for coming back same as he was. I thought he became Goblin as a punishment. Can anyone explain?

I still stand by the opinion, that it’s mainly production’s fault. Of course they agreed to it, both Sian and Theo but still. I don’t hate on anyone, but it was certainly not fun to watch.
