Hmm, well, it's true that I haven't rewatched the intro to Puen but while I agree that he correctly shames Captain about the leak, or whatever, of the video, I don't recall that he was anything other than a fellow student with a few lines. I agree that we don't know *why* he started working at the Playboyy club (though I thought of a couple of plausible explanations 😄) but since I didn't know of any reason why he *wouldn't* be working there (we don't see that he's a rich kid, like some of the others), I didn't consider it OOC.

So am I and I can't stand wine despite trying to enjoy both red and white! 😄 But I thought I knew enough about it to be surprised to see Mhok pour RED wine out of the chilling bottle.

Was thinking about these guys and realized that only two of them (maybe a third) have, in my opinion, not yet done anything out of character: Phop and Puen.

Phop, despite having to work as a cam guy, a prostitute, and a drug dealer, is caring and surprisingly communicative while he tries to take care of Nuth, the guy he cares for (for whatever reason!). He's just trying to do the right thing!

Puen - either a poor student putting himself through university by working at Playboyy OR a bored university student looking for some excitement by working at Playboyy - has a certain moral code ("Say no to violence"), calls out Captain for leaking the video of him and Zouey, and naturally falls for his sexy mentor. Yes, his love declaration came a bit quickly but it *is* a BL so I'll allow it. He's remained confident as he's risen through the ranks at the club.

The third *could* be Nuth but only because he's so unstable that there's no way to characterize him. 😂

The rest of them have confused me, either greatly or mildly, at some or many points along the way.

I would agree (been a while since I saw the early eps!) that Nont (the brother searching) didn't seem to be experienced in BDSM play but I'm not sure I got the feeling that he could be straight, though I guess we don't know that for sure. But as far as supposedly being inexperienced and then suddenly seeming to know what he's doing...well, I might put it down to bad directing/writing.

I didn't think the criticism was with the way they spoke English or the fact that they have strong accents, it's with the fact that they are both (if we're talking about Soong and First) native Thai speakers (at least that's my assumption!) so why would a conversation between them be entirely in English? If one or both of them aren't supposed to be native Thai speakers, I've missed that.

Yes, I'd think he should know his way by now! But wasn't it Day who originally didn't want to leave his room, much less the house? It was only once he met Mhok and his new caretaker didn't baby him and even challenged him that he left.

Thank you! 🙏 I probably misunderstood the "90 days" mentioned in the blurb on this site (so above) and I thought during the first ep. Maybe that's just the time estimate for his vision to finally deteriorate fully and has nothing to do with the transplant.

And yes, I can put the mother's concern down to her general overprotectiveness. Hopefully she'll be able to let go a bit!

I am a bit confused, though, as to why no one seems to be able to let Day make his way alone though HIS OWN HOUSE. I'd assume that's the one environment he should know best! 😄

Maybe there's something I'm misunderstanding about Day's medical condition. When the series starts, we are told that his condition is degenerative and he'll probably have about 90 days until he's completely blind. In the meantime, he's waiting for a corneal transplant opportunity. This is what I'd understood, anyway, and that if the transplant didn't happen in time, that would be it for his chances at having his vision restored.

So, if any of the above is correct, why was Day's mother so upset that he and Mhok had gone out of town when his vision deteriorated? What could have been done even if he'd been at home? I'm no doctor but I didn't think that Day being near a hospital or clinic would have changed anything.

And now that he's fully blind...there's now the possibility of a full eye transplant, which is what seems to happen in the next ep? Was that always on the table and I just didn't realize it?

It's like you've read my mind! I also agree that it's a fantastic series but all of the points you've made, and a couple of other small issues I had from earlier eps, keep me from rating it a perfect 10.

- The drama between Day and Mhok was a bit overdramatic, considering it wasn't a breakup; they would continue to see each other normally. // But at least they didn't use this as a cliffhanger so we'd have to wait an entire week to see that, ah, Mhok quitting didn't mean they were breaking up.

Although heartwarming, it's a significant responsibility, and we didn't see Night hesitating or contemplating what would become of them. // We also didn't see Porjai agreeing to any of it! When Night told the nurse/friend, it's my baby, my initial reaction was whoa, way to go! But I thought about it afterwards and realized that we have no idea how serious their relationship is or if Porjai even wants his help, so was he being too presumptuous? Is he just assuming she's a damsel in distress who needs to be rescued?

Right, definitely edited the English out! I'd forgotten about that already. I wouldn't hold too much hope for any future NC scenes...unless they hear all of the new complaints from those of us who never had a problem with them in the first place!

Great! Though we assume that the "cut" version is what they show on YouTube and the uncut version has still been edited from what it was before the hiatus (probably removing some footage from the NC scenes).

I would LOVE to see some outtakes! I think there are behind the scenes videos out there and maybe some of that type of thing gets into them.

Semi-related (just barely!), there was some Playboyy event the other week and about 5 of them went to it. There are two short videos on IG, not from the official event. In one, the 5 of them are exiting what looks like the venue and giving model vibes as they pass through the door as a group. Then there's a second clip, coming out the same door but just as they are opening it, an older man walks in front before he turns around to get out of the shot, so when they come out they see him and start laughing. It's very cute!

Oh, we lost that even before the hiatus! 😂 Unless there's some miracle, I don't think we'll be getting it back.

I feel like things calmed down a LOT after the near fist fights after the first ep aired, and by the fourth ep a lot of the haters had left the building.

But would you watch a series about 7 "normal" couples? 😂
