1) Does Cang Xuan love XY more than a sister?2) Does Cang Xuan turn evil in S2?3) Does Cang Xuan die in S2?
I think he is also holding on to their childhood promise to be together forever (in the trailer, as husband and wife). He helps Hou kill Jing not only because he is jealous but also because he sincerely believes Jing, unlike Fenglong and himself, is weak and cannot protect her.
Can someone please tell me, doesJing become more strong? I realize he lost the love of his life but I’m hoping…
Jing remains kind and forgiving. I personally don't think he is weak or less strong than the other male leads. He never becomes violent nor cold. In season 2, YY will realize that she is wrong to think that Jing is weak and indecisive.
I think Xiaoyao and Jing will meet each other twice before he asks XL to stop her from marrying Fenglong. First will be during her engagement? where Jing will get very drunk, and the other will be when Xiaoyao goes to Qq where there will be an awkward meal involving her, Jing, Chang, and FFB.
I think it was in episode 26, when Jing saw Xiaoyao offer her wrist to Bei. Jing certainly had his suspicions when he met him as FFB because as Shiqi he had seen XL's face.
This is really good but I am dropping it at episode 34 because I have been assured that my favorite character…
Jing isn't really worthless. Because of his situation, he couldn't openly protect Xiaoyao. Instead, he helped CX, the person Xiaoyao valued the most, become emperor so that Xiaoyao could be safe. Jing not only helped in money matters, he also was the one who convinced the clans of the Central Plains to support CX. And it was Jing's idea to gain control of the Central Plains first before Xiyan.
In the book, Hou's wife gets poisoned by FFYY. Jing tells XY this and the whole story after she runs away from…
XL finds Jing and helps him heal. He makes sure Jing and Xiaoyao get their happy ending before he dies in battle. CX is back to being a great leader. The title of the novel actually pertains to CX -- he gained the world (for Xiaoyao), but lost her forever. I really recommend reading the novel. The novel helps you understand the motivation of each character better (except for XL, he's such a mystery). However, props to the CX actor, he makes CX more sympathetic in the drama.
He will grow up as Jing's son and inherit the Tushan clan eventually so Jing can go off and wander the earth with…
And the child grew up to be just like Jing! Jing also made it possible for YY to spend time with her son. He also fulfilled Hou's dream of his son becoming clan leader. I do hope we will get scenes of Jing with his son/nephew.
I agreed I feel like he’s the most pitiful of all characters. No one showed him any real love but XiaoYao.
Jing played a big part in CX's ascent to the throne. He not only helped finance CX's ambition, Jing was also the one who convinced the clans to support it (starting with Fenglong). It was also Jing's idea to have CX focus his campaign in the Central Plains. Of course his primary reason was to keep XY close, but he also believed in CX's dream to unite the two kingdoms.
Xiao Yao's POVXiao Yao said "You all think that I saved Jing's life and he just glommed on to me, but in truth…
One of my favorite lines from Xiaoyao! ". . .to be kind and forgiving . . . to give first and trust first . . ." indeed require a lot of strength. Others would rather be vengeful and greedy to satisfy their hearts.
