Not in the king level of a show but enough to land you a smile
I must say that Lee Junho and Im Yoona’s pair are top-notch. They have already shown their romantic tension ever since their Senorita exceptional performance on a music show. That’s why when the drama was announced with them as the main lead, I immediately added this to my watchlist without even knowing what the story was. Lee Junho always made his series worthy of binge-watching effortlessly seducing the viewers to fall with his character’s charisma and vibes. They never failed, although I must say that the overall impact of the show is literally not that great. It was good enough for a fun time show with its light and romance elements but they failed to be consistent. I found myself fast-forwarding some episodes and I felt only one thing that time -boring. However, the finale episode uplifts and justifies the flop of previous episodes.
I came across a comment that the show lacks plot twists yet I feel like the show doesn’t need a more dramatic kind of appeal but needs more scenes to give to other side characters. I was hoping that the flight attendant lady would be promoted already in the last episode but it didn’t happen. In general, if you’re watching a soft and fun series, this is enough for you. But if you want more dramatic actions, you will entirely feel less about it. Nevertheless, King the Land gives me a Hermes smile with their quality of producing the whole show.

Too average and bland
It started in a cool way; from having such a light and refreshing concept that features the way of living of three to four teenagers. However, it sticks in that way -no character development, intense and impactful plots, and even the ending is just a mere average one.Sehun is the reason why I added this show to my list. Although, I didn’t wholeheartedly feel disappointed since Go You is such a fun character. Yet, I feel pity that they wasted such a good foundation of his role. The rest of the cast feels too reserved.
The girl acting is too unpleasant; she’s just wearing a poker face the whole period of the drama. Her eyes can’t literally deliver the right emotion needed for the specific scenes. Nevertheless, I still appreciate everyone’s acting as it is not too bad compare to some dramas I watched. But again, I rarely feel disappointed watching a Korean show with a poor delivery of acting from its cast. My favorite thing from this show is the OST. It is soothing and lovely to the ears, and somehow reminds me of Meteor Garden.

Promising start -artistic and beautiful, yet the romance gets annoying after
The first few episodes were so great, they introduce a fresh, new, and an amazing fantasy storyline. From the cast itself, I knew that the acting will be marvelous and they show cleverness in acting as I expected but sometimes Ahn Hyo Seop forgets that he’s supposed to act as a blind man. I already watched a lot of Korean historical drama and most of them bored me at some point, the same goes with this drama but I’m grateful to witness a historical inserting magical powers and believes that make the story more colorful. The best part of the show is how they highlighted the traditional skill of drawing and painting. The gathering or competition among many painters was my favorite episode of all time. The way they executed the variety of brushing techniques, the sound of papers and brush, the big factor of being able to draw an art that has different kind of impression, and the quality effects of each drawings was really a masterpiece. I have so much fun watching the episode so much plus the three best friends call sign is so hilarious and cute (troublemaker, nuisance, and frown).
The early episodes were light and comedic but then it gets serious and dramatic. It was during EP12 when I started to hate the romance from the story. Obviously, they failed to emphasize the love story in a more pleasant way. Perhaps it became another cliché story that let either one of the lovers affects the people around them just because of their undying love on each other. The girl does risky things even thou she or her beloved people can be killed any minute. Then the boy sudden change of heart is odd, I hate it when he’s loyal subordinate man sacrifices his life just to save the father of his girlfriend. Where is the years of planning for vengeance? The same goes with the girl, the antagonist was right when he called that the reason why her father was killed was simply because of her desperate love for his boyfriend.
On the other hand, I love how the second and third prince rivalry story were given an open ended story. The second prince shows explicit facial expression on acting as an antagonist, it was good. The third prince was one of my early favorite because of his cuteness and innocent character. Every royal family in a drama always have to fight for the throne all the time. The demon and all other mythical creatures explicit in the show is something I am really happy about.
Another part of the show that I love the most is the music (OSTs, background songs). Byun Baekhyun proves that he is one of the most incredible singer in the industry. Hearing his song is a beautiful perfection fit for the concept and cinematography of the show. All of the music are cool, especially the background song plays when the characters are painting during the competition, a soothing and elegance vibes.
Overall, it was really good but only the romance during the last few episodes affected my enjoyment of watching. The ending is okay as well as the epilogue. The cast are the reason I started to watch the show but I fell in love with the story which was a great experience for me as a viewer.

The visual is only the good element
It took me too much time to get into the show, the first few episodes are absolutely a no fun for me, but midway of the series, it was getting entertaining and enjoyable. This is when the mother appeared in their house, since then I am smiling throughout the main couple’s screen time. My favorite scene is the accident kiss, it was too cute and good.Having such two handsome main actors, the show has the potential but unfortunately failed to execute the whole story.
Factors why I give the show a low rating:
- Poor acting
- Less workplace details
- Rough and messy transition
- Cringe and annoying side characters
- Too ordinary plot
- The insertion of unnecessary and excessive b-sounds
- SIDE COUPLE that has NO CHEMISTRY. The café owner is good but he’s partner is not fit for acting cute. I am watching their scenes with a totally no-emotion-facial-expression.
- Forgot to explain the past. It is when a flashback of Jin Yu Zhen meeting Shi Lei has seen but after that, no explanation has given.
- The title “I DO” is given to the side couple during the last episode and the main couple way of saying I Do is by the new rules created by Jin Yu Zhen.
Anyways, although I have a lot of complaints about the show, I have probably a good time watching it. If only they manage to show us more maybe my rating will be good enough.

Warm, Cute, & Fun!
Although it is a typical school youth rom-com drama, yet it established a good reaction to the viewers. The story is cute and I love how they offer different stories every episodes. I also love the different characteristics of the cast feauture in the story.Joo Young, the main character, it took me 5-10 episodes before I enjoy his character. Maybe because it is too childish for me but it's understandable too cause some guys are really like that during high school. Park Jihoon really did great in his acting here. The female lead on the other hand, Wang Jarim, is kinda cold and straightforward girl. It's too new for me that the girl is the one who's cold and the boy is the one who's clingy and nosy. At first, I don't really feel the butterflies watching the love story of the two leads but after they went to byung hoon's province, their scenes are starting to look so lovely.
For the other cast, Kyung woo is the cold yet supportive friend of the main lead. I don't really like that he play the feelings of Yeseul just to took away his attention to Jarim. The same with Min ji. Kyung woo and Min Ji was my favorite characters from the start of the series but in the last few episodes, I feel so bad to their actions. Jung Sang Hoon deserve to someone who loves him truly.
In one of the episodes where Byunghoon's bday was not able to remember by his friends, I do cry on it. It is really painful that you're friends forgot your special day. I love Byunghoon's funny and hilarious personality. His smile showcasing his braces is too cute!! Then we have Ahn Kyung Min, the eyeglass friend. He didn't give a backstory in the drama but he's too cool for stating facts everytime about his friends life problems.
Best girl Oh Ah Ram, the snorlax of the gang. Strong and mature character. The girl who always been the intellect of the group. She's always there to solve failures committed by her friends.
The other characters, Jinhee, Going Jisoo, and the rest also adds flavors to the flow of the show.
I know there will be a season 2 the way they end the final episode. Overall, it was enjoyable to watch. The OST's and soundtrack is fit to the concept of the show and I love the clean and classy cinematography.

Soulmates can either trap you in the concept of love or make you deeply fall in love
A Thai BL that caters to a unique concept that builds a strong foundation for the show. Few people who experienced a rare hearing-loss condition whenever it rains bring excitement to me as a viewer during the first few episodes. These people can only hear one or two people with the same phenomenal situation which they referred to as soulmates—giving the drama a high score with the concept alone.Yet, the consistency isn’t there. During the last half episodes of the show, I get tired and felt bored watching. The plot twist is just so-so. The repetitive flashback from each episode to the next one is just too overly done. I just wished that they just give us a 20-30 mins duration time if they can only show us too many scenes that are already been used before.
Nevertheless, the cast is a total eye candy and somehow saves the show. Jessada is such a cutie and I hope I can see more of him in other future projects. They are so white and clean that made me realize how locals and celebrities from Thailand have such a big gap in skin color. The acting is merely average and that’s fine. I like Lomfon's character the best. He is on the edge of confusing his own feelings and I am happy that in the end, he got to find what his heart truly feels like. The production may be planning for a second season since the last scene speculates a possible third party to the second couple as Saengthian suddenly experienced hearing loss as well.
What I love about this show is how they emphasize that the term called “soulmates” are just a word that romanticizes people’s idea of love. It can also be turned into a concept of getting trapped in a relationship with someone who you don’t sincerely love and choose to stay just because of being attached to the fantasized idea of a soulmate.

OutSHINE my expectations
A story of fighting for freedom from capitalism, corruption, and life in general. This gives such a powerful message to the audience: the deep and meaningful reference to real-life situations where politics can destroy the lives of its people. As a viewer, I can sense the authenticity that the show aims to convey. They nailed and devoured the concept. The thing I love the most about this series is the way they wanted us to be more engaged and aware of the government system and how the public deserves the right leaders in society. It keeps on shining every single EP. Everyone is smoking in this show, which connects to how stressed the characters are in the story. The protesters, who were composed of the students, versus the government army, was such a powerful scene. Victor might have left the world, but his strong will remains in the souls of everyone. Trin and Tanwa having a good ending was the silver lining after such a depressing conclusion to the rest of the characters.
Here comes my favorite part, the love story between Krailert and Naran. Two kind-hearted lovers who were divided by social responsibilities and the path they had chosen in life. Son Yuke was the main reason why I decided to watch the show. This is my first time watching him, and I am already invested in every single scene he has. I got enchanted by his handsome face, sexy posture, and manly physique, especially in that police uniform.
Going back to the story, the Colonel and Naran both love to write and eventually got to fell in love with each other. I was shocked by how great their story was. It feels like they are the main couple here more than MileApo. It is so damn romantic how they incorporate the '90s setting and use the library as to exchange of communication for these two. The chemistry and tension are top-notch!
Way to go with such a very very great execution of intimate scenes. I was in awe of how professional Son Yuke and Euro were during these shots. It was so hot and really brought out all the flavor of the fantasy I wanted to feel from their romance. Klai Rung and Sarasawadee being the whole city’s couple of the year was such a treat.
It is so obvious that Krailert and Naran will not end up together. Yet, the thing that shocked me the most is that all this time, Dhevi is the mastermind to possessed Krailert all by herself. This girl does the most unexpected evil things against Krailert. At the end, she wins and even bears a child from him.
“Some things do not need to be spoken aloud. Some answers are better left quiet, unannounced, because we already know them, deep down.” I am crying the whole time listening to Naran’s last message to Krailert before his last appearance in the finale. As Krailert said to Trin, he has chosen this path and has to face the consequences. That was a good cry from this couple. I still love them from my heart.
Aside from all of these, I would also like to mention that the set of OSTs is all so beautiful. I love it so much as far as I love the exposure of their butts and muscles. The fight for democracy is still growing in the real world. I want to thank everyone behind this amazing show for compiling an eventful and timely story for the world to consume and see for themselves.

Promising start but has complex and overexposed sequences
With the university-based concept, I almost didn’t care about the show. However, since it has well-known talented actors, I decided to binge-watch it and somehow didn’t disappoint (at some point). Characters were introduced smoothly and we were served with multiple pairings, which have pros and cons.Hill and Easter were loveable until they were the highlight of a few consistent episodes. This will sooner become the flow of each pair and it’s kind of draining to see one couple if we have a few couples that can slowly show us each of their love progress. Due to this, it feels like the other pair is underutilized which badly led me to fast-forward the scenes from Hill and Easter, which will also happen to Johan and North after a few EPs.
But don’t get me wrong, Johan and North’s story saves the show. It makes me blush and giggle. But still not enough to completely uplift the obvious flaws of the drama. Writing this review, I am fully aware that the rest of the couples’ story is about to unfold in the sequel but I pity the opportunity to launch their chemistry in this show.
And now, let’s talk about my favorite part of this BL. The side couple, Tiger and Nao, devoured the MCs. They should also be in the official poster as their chemistry is top-notch. The minimal screen time wasn’t a big deal as they turned it into their absolute best. I am always eager to see more from them on each EP.
With the seventeen EPs, the overall impact was just average. But I can’t deny the fact that I enjoy both HillTer and JohanNorth at the start of their storyline. They may not have a unique plot or overflowing chemistry, but they still performed pretty well for a BL show. Looking forward to more of the other pairs in the sequel and I hope they turn these flaws into lessons to apply in the upcoming project.

Close to not continuing
We have new faces in the BL industry and they’re all looking good. But that’s it, everything aside from their looks is just too ordinary. The story, acting, chemistry, and the overall impact were mediocre. I have high hopes that they can turn the series into a worthy show since they airing it on Netflix, a popular streaming giant. Yet, they failed and continued to be a failure until the last episode. I would also like for the producers to stop incorporating unnecessary items in the show to be sold as merchandise. The dolls are cringe and horrifying which makes no sense to the story.Honestly, they got me into the pilot episode. I enjoyed it wholeheartedly and was excited to see more things from them but as usual, they just kept getting worse. Even the side couples are not helping to save the show. The medical side feels like a clickbait for viewers who like to see real medical stuff from the drama. Can they also stop pairing every character with one another? The ML’s best friend and the girl's doctor ended up together is nonsense.
Thankfully, intimate scenes were executed well and I wanted to see more. Yet, I also felt like staring at two men kissing and not getting attached to the emotional portrayal of their romance. Since their characters are unenjoyable. The drama wasted its budget and I felt pity for those smaller companies with a better production quality to offer to its audience.

I need to reset the story
A romance between Artificial intelligence and a human is indeed a challenging take for me to get adopted. I watched several shows with similar concepts but only a few entertained me. Anti-Reset is no exception since I badly wanted to rewrite their storyline. They have the budget but the sequence of scenes could have been more exciting. The only time that I got giggles was during that particular moment when the robot was creating an account for the human and he was asked to verify if he was not a robot and that was hilarious. The acting was mediocre too; the robot ain’t seem like a robot and the professor carries an average acting performance. They almost have the right chemistry but fail to be consistent in delivering the decent vibes of romance needed per dialogue. In the end, the robot is a robot and recontinues with the romance with the human as if nothing happened.
I would like to be happy and satisfied with the ending but I knew deep down in my heart that they could showcase more than this one. At some point, I feel like they wasted the potential of the production value and the role of the artists. Nevertheless, it wasn’t the worst Sci-Fi series out there, yet it wasn’t also close to being matched in a standard level of this genre.

Not that great but not that bad either
Ain’t the most appealing and entertaining J-BL this year yet I’m happy they tried and make things work. The love story was light and the chemistry was alright but it took me a while before being absorbed into their characters. The inconsistency in each episode is also there as sometimes I got too bored but there are also times that I was smiling with them. The memorable parts of this drama were the sauna scenes that seldom missed a single episode without having one of their conversation inside the hot room. I must also say that the childish fight right after becoming an official couple was indeed cute. Sakae-kun is handsome and emits the lighter version of the word sexy.
But the best part that the show has to offer was to bless me with such a cool setup of OSTs. ‘Palette’ by SG and ‘I’ll Be There’ by Genic were playing on repeat in my playlist. It was so good that it also helped the drama to be more catchy and have an average rating score.

The colors of my world, are also colors of his world.
Okay, so first I'm saying that this is one of my fave short BL drama ever!STORY
I had no idea how the concept of colors may turned into something very pleasing to both my eyes and heart. It was new for me and I love it. I do really like a lot the idea of MONO's and PROBE's. I'm surely know that if it is a full length drama, they can give us more. The flow of the story is so good and I also love how they educate me of the different color shades and variants. They even did a good job on writing the lines cause I really do enjoy it a lot. I'm just hoping that they didn't have to let Yoo Han become a person with face blindness as a twist cause it's not really needed. I mean if I am Yoo Jun, maybe I doubted Yoo Han intentions, cause I will think that the only reason he likes me is because I am the only one he can fully see a face. But well, overall the concept was a top tier for me.
ACTING or CAST
Hmmm. Some people say that Hyun Jun acting is stiff and robotic but I don't agree with them. Yes, at some point I found him kind of loss with the acting but it is just for a few moment and I guess it is also suitable for his role, as a guy who always wear mask, hmmm mysterious like that. Then we have, Yoo Jun, I don't have anything bad to say about his acting cause he slay it. For being a student who builds wall around him to turning his soft sides with Hyun Jun. He's literally good and deliver his role perfectly. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE CHEMISTRY. I can feel, I even scream for few of their scenes, and most importantly I enjoy it. Butterflies in my stomach!!
MUSIC
The moment I hear that opening song, I already go to Spotify and add it to my playlist cause it's so very beautiful. OST is one of the reason on why this drama is a must!
This time, this love... I'm singing right now hahahaha
Overall, I give this a 10/10 rating cause they deserve it. For a 8 episodes drama with 15 mins duration, this drama fulfill the goal of making the viewers fall in love with them. One of the best Korean BL I've ever watched! Thank you for allowing us to enter the world where MONO's and PROBE's exist. Just like Yoo Jun statement's in the last episode "The world of colors is infinite, just like one's love for another." I hope you, the one reading this review, may also find the perfect person who will give a aesthetically beautiful color to you life cause I know we do all deserve someone who will treat us perfectly.
I love you, Color Rush.

Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won -the King and Queen of bringing me to tears
It’s not the story alone but the actors themselves who make way for this drama to be notable and successful. No matter how good or bad a storyline is, the actors can reverse the situation depending on their talent in acting alone. As always, Kim Soo Hyun never disappoints, and he gives everything in his power to deliver us the Baek Hyun Woo that we all love right now. Unquestionably, he is the highest-earning Korean actor in the industry because the man is always here to slay his designated character. The show became even more powerful with Kim Ji Won joining his side to carry out a tear-jerker romance with undying chemistry from start to finish. As an avid K-drama fan, it’s always been my pleasure to be their supporter.I got this love-and-hate feeling during the first half of the drama. Aside from the main characters, the rest of the cast is annoying without a decent share of the story. The Chaebol family was outsmarted by a small group of villains who share the same brain cell with them -stupid and fool. I am unconvinced how these antagonists managed to take everything from them with the usual plot. The family members of Hyun Woo except for his mother were also a pain in the eyes during the early set of episodes. Everything became more enjoyable after the two families lived under one roof and fixed everything gradually.
The epilogues for every episode were always their best part. It never failed to make me cry and be in awe of the love and care that Hyun Woo and Hae In have for each other. Until the end, tears just keep flowing during the epilogue scenes. The set of OSTs also contributes a lot to the overall impact that the show has. Queen of Tears breaks TV records and has excellent ratings. Yet, I will not give them a perfect score since obviously they have flaws but still managed to make it to the top. In Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, I put my trust in always bringing the best from every project they had.

Due to its popularity, I've been spoil every single episode Everytime I scroll into my social media accounts. But it's okay because I understand that it is a talk-of-the-town drama. Although the story is kinda cliche, the characters able to cover and make the viewers love the show.
Now let's talk about the cast. We all know that HAN SEO JUN OWNS THE SHOW. I am a fan of Hwang In Yeop since the beginning of his career and I'm so glad that finally he was recognized and love by so many. He portray Seojun excellent!! There's no doubt that he's a good actor. Plus Han Seo Jun is the best boy in the whole story. He is a man who helps his family by working so hard. The only cons about him is he is not into academics and sometimes been into several fights. But thanks to this, he first meet Jugyeong. Waaaaahhh anyways, I am Team Seojun both the webtoon and drama version cause hello he deserve some love and it's okay if it is not Jugyeong cause we can't really push someone to love us.
Then we have Changed Eunwoo as Lee Suho. I must say that Eunwoo's acting is not consistent. There are scenes that he seems to be lost with his character and it really affects the show. Tbh, Eunwoo knows to act but he is not really that good. But still, he got me during the scenes of his crying in the hospital.
Next is Moon Gayoung as Jugyeong. I really love Jugyeong in the webtoon version but in the drama version I find her cringe maybe because Gayoung's really fit into a cute role with a pushy and force cute young teen intonation.
Park Youna in the other hand excels in acting. Her portraying the Kang Soo Jim role is really perfect. I love her acting ever since. The way she delivers the message into her eyes is so fascinating. I'm just sad that she got fewer scenes compare to other supporting actor.
Lastly we have the side characters who did their role very well. The story is being light and funny because of them. It gives a good vibes in every episodes. Specially to Jugyeong's family. I love how chaotic and funny they are. I also love her mother for giving comfort to Jugyeong when she finally know the reason why she is obsessed with make up. That's what a supporting parent really is. The father, sister, and brother of Jugyeong are one of the best people in the show. Then we have their classmates hahahah it's really fun to witness Cho Rong squad and Take Hoon squad together. There are also divided to team suho and seojun hahaha. Soo Ah is also cute in the series.
There are too many couples in the show and I love them both specially the Gowoon and Jooyoung couple hahaha and Mr. Han and his strawberry. But for suho and jugyeong's chemistry, it is not stable at all. There are scenes when I feel nothing at all. It is not a solid butterflies for me. I hate it cause the main couple should be the one who gives me butterflies but it isn't consistent :(
MUSIC
I'm in the mood for dancing...
The moment I hear this, I immediately downloaded it hahahah cause it's cute and catchy. Aside from it, Missing You is so good too. Thanks Chani and In Yeop for your beautiful and angelic voice!
Okay, it was long enough and I have to end this although I got many more things to say.
10/10 for ep1-9 but went downhill in the last few episodes so overall I'm going to give this a 9/10 rating.
Thanks for the beautiful time True Beauty.

Vampire is Out, Romance is In!
Wow. I didn’t expect that this drama would be that good. Upon reading the synopsis, it kind of sounds cliché. However, after watching the show, I never felt bored or unsatisfied. The short time duration per EP might help for a quick binge-watch, but also make me want to watch more. It has the potential for a long run, yet the outcome of the show was enough to give it a high rating. The story does not focus on too many dramatic values revolving around Vampires. I love that they utilize it to establish a nice plot for the main character to create an impact on the usual routine of the blood-sucker men. Interesting trivia I learned from this show is that Vampires can be half-human too, as well as, there’s a weight requirement for them to consume human blood.
All of the casts are looking so handsome and charismatic. A bunch of eye candy actors who actually performed well in their respective roles. Lee Ju Won and Han Dong Ha’s chemistry was top-notch, too. I’m such a big fan of the enemy-turned-lovers trope, and having one tsundere paired to a cutie is such a vibe. Their first Seoul night date was the time I fell in love with the pairing. They also wear very stylish clothing during this EP, which made them even more handsome. The kissing scenes at the campfire EP and library during the finale were my favorites!
The thing that shocked me about the show’s plot is that Lee Ju Won is the center of a love rivalry between the human Han Dong Ha and versus Vampire best friend Lee Tae Hyung. That was an unexpected twist, and I am loving the way they close the second lead’s romantic feelings. His aura was also a notable element in the show.
I love the execution of the story, character development, and a sense of a not rushed ending. The overall experience of this K-BL was fun. It may be short, but it actually carries out the goal of entertaining and leaving a mark on the viewers’ POV.
