Pursuit Of Jade drama definitely need more episodes, at least another 5 more episodes. i can see very obvious how the Director try to squeeze in the whole story to fit into 40episodes. the weakness of this Drama is not the fault of anyone,. The actors/actresses all act very well, the Director ,the screenwriter, even the Story itself all is great. The Lack in this Drama is because of they don allow more than 40 episodes and not enough budget/money. if they invested more budget on this POJ Drama and allowed to have more than 40 episodes, Pursuit Of Jade will Be 100% perfect.
this drama deserves better rating, IMO 8.5 solid. very rare FL character , normally the Strong FL has cold and not romantic/spoiled character, but this drama has strong and cute&bold character, or shd i say shameless? 😁 too bad… how to increase the rate…. hopefully it goes up later.

All the Casts make-up is very natural. Meguro Ren doesn’t even look like he put on make-up, not like many Asian movie/drama nowadays. His look in this movie is very natural, but how come still look good.
somehow the hexagon rings that appear on his face whenever he uses his power makes him look even cooler, more handsome. does the anime version also like this? if not then , what a good improvisation!!
@Vilia Xiang Liu certainly stole the show for me. But the show succeeded because all the characters were layered…
now that u mention it i just remember ; XL thrice didn’t kill CX bcs XY shield him. XL actually need to kill CX to earn money to support his army, but he choose to let go CX. that deed considered his priority. maybe XL thinks at least that is the best that he can do for her at tht moment. and when XL gv the soft bread to XY and he eats the hard part of the bread also shows tht he loves her actually.
