I didn't start watching yet but is this episode 11??
Officially no. This page, Todome no Kiss is the main series. The Todome no Parallel is more of a "what if" spin off. Very short episodes. Since the plot says the main guy travels 7 days back, its not really a spoiler. Todomo no Parallel goes more into what happens to everyone else left behind when he travels back 7 days. Its interesting. The final episode of Todome no Parallel is different since its 1 year later after Todome no Kiss' ending in episode 10 basically. So watch all 10 of Kiss, then the last of Parallel.
I like that episode, the last in the Parallel series, because its basically the episode 11 for this main series Todome no Kiss as its a 100x better ending than the ending for this series episode 10 which isnt bad, its just open and not in the way most people were expecting I guess. Both are very satisfying but the Parallel one is better.
I think people rate based on how grades were done in school, at least in the USA. A 70 is a C- or borderline D which is BARELY a passing grade and is below average which would be a 75. Or a 7.0 and 7.5 respectively. So this is already considered bad for a lot of people. 8.0 or 80 is a B- Normally on a 1 to 10 scale, 5/10 would be middle ground, or average. But in school this is a 50 which is F-, failed. Very bad to have on anything. This makes 0 to 5.9 a total disaster. 6 to 7.9 below to barely passable averages. 8 being the new "its ok, pretty good not bad or great but decent"
I think most people give ratings and interpret rating based on something like this. I dont want to but I do because I think others do so as well so when I see a drama with in the 7 range, I see it as being bad rather than above average (compared to a 5) I have seem a lot of dramas with a 8 or higher rating that suck and plenty of 7 and 6 range dramas that were legit good and that deserve better.
I also think people go to extremes often. If they didnt like it, or have any criticism for any political reason or over something they believe a lot (race gender etc) its a 0 or a 10 particularly if they base it off of or compare it to how their own country views those things. Or they fangirl really hard if their favorite actor is in it. Its a 10 automatically even if realistically the drama is a 7. So you see a lot of 1's and 10's with a larger gap between 2 to 7.
Then you get people who somehow rate dramas before they air and its typically a 10/10 or you get a super popular Chinese drama and Korean drama fighting for top spot in the trending list of airing dramas.
I liked the manga and anime, and the live action drama was pretty good too, I think they did a good job especially with the characters lol. Cant wait for S2 to drop.
Takes place a year after the final episode of the main series. I guess 8 and 9 were not that important. But still sucks. I want to see those in english.
Episode 10 is very nice though :) Consider it an extension of the last episode of the main series that they forgot to add.
Nice drama. I love Nam Ji Hyun, very talented.

So its for drama from September this year to the previous year so I guess Mr Sunshine missed the window barely, I guess it qualifies for 2019?
