I don't think she was annoying in HS at all, but that plot point was indeed goofy and irritating. She was just a sweetie who didn't know how to stand up for her own wants to me, because of her past and stuff. Still was such a dumb thing that got resolved over night because they onky had 8 episodes T.T

I hate the plot too, but as a trans person I really don't care about cis women playing trans women or trans women playing cis women at all like?? I never understood the whole acting discourse at all...
