If Lanxiang were a man, nobody would blink at him being intelligent, talented, ambitious, and confident. He’d simply be called a “strong male lead.” But give those exact same qualities to a woman and suddenly we need an emergency meeting about the drama being “too feminist.” 😂 Interesting how competence apparently becomes an agenda depending on who has it.

And apparently romance only counts if the couple is kissing every five minutes, constantly touching, and making sure the audience can’t possibly miss that they’re in love. 😂 Trust, loyalty, sacrifice, respect, companionship, and quietly standing by each other? Sorry, apparently those don’t count unless there’s enough physical affection to meet someone’s romance quota.

Different cultures—and different people—express love differently. It’s perfectly fine to prefer more physical or obvious romance, but a personal preference isn’t a universal standard for what “real romance” looks like. Maybe judge the drama for the story it’s actually telling, rather than marking it down for not following one particular cultural template. 😂

First of all, 10/10 to the entire cast just for reading this script and still saying, “Yes, I’ll do it.” 😂👏 That level of courage deserves recognition.
Now, writers… what exactly were we supposed to understand from this story? 😭 Because I watched from beginning to end, paid attention, stayed patient, and somehow still ended up with more questions than answers. At some point, it felt like the plot packed its bags and left without telling anybody. 😂
And Director, I genuinely need to ask: Why did you choose to direct the story this way? You had a talented cast and an interesting concept, but the storytelling was so confusing that I felt like I needed to join the production team just to find out what was going on. 😭😂
Please, next time, make the story clear all the way to the end. Don't give us a puzzle and forget to include half the pieces.

My understanding of what I just watched: still loading… ⏳😂

I might not like the direction the story is going, it is my personal likes. However, one thing about this drama there was no boring scene. Every scene made me glue to the screen. Life is not always full of flower especially in the Palace. We cannot expect nothing to happened , the is not realistic. People die everyday. Tragic happened whether we like or not.
