there's absolutely no need for the supernatural element. its totally wasted here. that should have been more…
that's what i was saying that there was no need for the supernatural element. it was total waste.
tell me what you're talking about when you say 'giving each of them a specific gimmick'? i thought you were saying that it was done to attract variety of audiences and so I was reminding you that the show never grasped much ratings.

'giving each of them a specific gimmick'? he doesn't have anything to do with those blades, no evil force to fight off or any means to use them for a good purpose.
so,what are you talking about? you know that the show had bad ratings, right?

i wanted it to be just psychological blades and not literally(now don't say they weren't real because we saw plenty of evidence stating blades were true).
claustrophobia(secret garden), alexia, or prickliness and inability to control his rage don't take any physical form in any of those dramas.
here it matters because so much time was wasted just to show he was enraged, part of which could've been spent on finding solutions.
his exquisite sense of smell- i just attributed it to the blades's side/counter-effect.there's a time when he's in his car going somewhere and he says 'Se Dong is in 1km radius' that kinda looked bad logically. but as far as the comiv approach it was hilarious.
1.there's only two 'miss oh' in this(mainly because those are the ones we/Park do kyung was interested in) that are relevant.
2. it is NOT a story about both of them equally. it's more about the plain miss oh than the pretty one, even screen time wise also.
3. the 1st one came into his life and left him with memories and scars. to take revenge he does something but what happens is that it never affected the 1st miss oh but the other.
now this other miss oh's life becomes a mess. then he comes to know his mistake despite that he falls in love with this miss oh. and so the story becomes everything about this miss oh which is the 'other miss oh'
4. the word 'another' makes me think as if a new miss oh, who'll have same/more significant role in our protagonist's life, will pop up anytime soon. in general sense 'other' means not that special. as we get to know that the 1st one was the 'pretty miss oh' while the 2nd one just 'plain miss oh'. so this ends with just 2 of miss oh's
i've watched her in Missing 9 and 38 Task Force And she looks a bit like Jun Ji Hyun(You Who Came from the Stars & Windstruck (2004) respectively), doesn't she?
there's absolutely no need for the supernatural element. its totally wasted here. that should have been more of a metaphorical than literal. the show already had enough drama content. there's not much character development. acting wise Shin Se Kyung and Lee Mi Sook were good enough for me to finish it watching, a little disappointed with others. the Secretary did the job precisely.
Bad Guy was my one of the 1st korean dramas. i wasn't impressed with the other leads(male/female) but i wanted to see more of KNG. so i watched Shark but i didn't like the fact that both the dramas were revenge dramas.
but the actor still holds a special place in my heart. recently i saw Pandora, where it looked more real when he didn't try to be a hero but just cry like a pathetic and scared human being at the end of the movie(is it a pattern for such endings with him?).
which made me miss him. and so i'm waiting for his next release One Day.
Nice article! thanx for writing it.
well after 10 episodes we already have an idea about who the killer might be but do not know the extent of the corruption inside the police or among the people within the system.
**BTW, it's 14 episode aired already.
liked:- bigger cast and that many different characters
disappointment: most of them had nothing to do in the 2nd half. even the veteran actors had nothing to offer.
totally agree with the 'disappointment of his post-army drama', but the movie was good, very good.
I've seen Secret Garden, My name is Kim sam soon, The snow queen.
The world that they live in is on hold and i plan to watch Friend our legend.
Jung kyung ho has main lead roles since 13 years This drama is his worst role ever. I hope this drama doesnt affect…
'killing in one scene then a childish joke the next scene' can you point out some of the moments that you have problem with?
'They have to stick to certain theme and genre'? when did that happen? except for only crime oriented shows like TEN, or Missing noir m or Mrs cop, H.I.T., etc. all other dramas that have even bit of romance have gone off track at some point.
i started watching this show after the 11th episode was aired and i've had some issues with the continuity of the scenes and some other issues but i won't go as far as saying it'll have a -ve impact on anyone's career.
Edit: in Confession of murder people literally idolize the killer even though they were thinking that he was a serial killer. but here public doesn't know anything. and those who know can't do anything(joon ki, ji ah, guy with original president) or won't do anything(the lady in charge of investigation, president Jang) or don't have proof(Bong hee, joon oh, prosecutor yoon and his lackeys)

it's also tagged 'adventure' and 'comedy' so genre mix is a given.
no one treats him as a killer because everyone has their own agenda. have you seen the movie 'Confession of murder'? i don't want to spoil it here for anyone. just watch it, amazing movie.
And those who know him are earnestly trying to find the evidence to show the world.
kissasian tagged it a TRAGEDY. anyone know if that's true?(plz don't be)
haha. i'm totally confused right now. first you said- you're glad you don't know me, then you said- the only thing that matters to me is fake romance and finally you say- i'm a deep person. i don't know what to feel right now.

2nd half=9.5/10
doesn't she look like Park Ha Sun?

but still, what's your 9.5 or 10 drama? what is your ideal drama?
