@ahjumma and everyone that has watched Boss and Me, I've started it for 3 times at least but I just can't get past episode 3 because of the lead actress, Shan Shan's reactions to anything and everything. I've wanted to watch it for the longest time since everyone has good things to say about it. from Chinese dramas, so far I've only watched Nirvana in the Fire and When a Snail falls in Love. so I don't know if that is the norm in the Chinese romance dramas.
I get irritated with her reactions. they are like that of a young child. sometimes they go over the top, sometimes in a different direction. so how did you people watch it?
wait, who's the real F killer?& is he caught, anyone? please help me understand.
so it really was cancelled. I thought they'd shoot it just not now. but then the RELATED CONTENT on this page shows a season 3.
anyways thanks for that. for a second I thought I missed the main villain.
I still hope they would close that case. I liked this series very much and so, i'd like to see a good conclusion.
Whisper's second half is a letdown. Drop in quality, drop in excitement. What should be thrilling, now feels…
I guess the amount of things that were going on one after another, makers couldn't find a balance between content and characterization.
but I like 2nd half too, as all the things have some sequence to it, they have an order to them.
also, having seen Lee Sang Yoon in Angel Eyes, Twenty Again & On The Way To The Airport, which are sweet romance dramas, watching even a tiny bit of dark shade to his character is excitement enough for me
Whisper's second half is a letdown. Drop in quality, drop in excitement. What should be thrilling, now feels…
in my opinion, it was the first half that was a bit all over the place, plotwise, since it was still defining the characters and the premise.
to me, Lee Sang Yoon was pretty convincing when he tried to be a negative character. but it is in his morals that made him came back to being good people.
Park Se Young and Kwon Yool,I admit that they are doing a good job in the role they're given but it's like when you're playing a negative role, there comes the freedom of acting as wickedly as you can while the good guys have to think of the morals and things like that. so they have that much complexities to their roles.
acting wise, the only thing off about it was when LDJ tries to act affectionately towards SYJ. that didn't come out as natural, to me. but towards the tail-end episodes, it is looking good. And her tears too. her crying always looked a little odd to me but in the 14 episode, it looked good.
the husband and all the people around her are so crippy. how they create a fake history for their own benefites…
she couldn't say those things because she herself wasn't honest with the husband before the accident. then as everyone was making it out to be her fault she might have thought so for a while. And then there is her boy. because she could leave the world but she couldn't do anything to traumatize her son at that tender age. her parents had died early, so she didn't want her son to go through that kind of pain.
but then there's a scene where she did lash out at the husband.
and also, when Eun Ho starts telling her the things of the past like 'that hand used to be mine' and from there on, she didn't mind it at all, in fact, she looked happy. so I think of it as she was getting free of the ties between her and her both families.
but yes, to a certain point I agree that it was a bit too much of abusing her.
that's what I am saying that it was badly written and acted. not one thing was written rightly.
to me that wasn't a romance at all. they just kept meeting for work stuff. then we suddenly see him getting interested in her. it was all cute but it didn't really feel like love but friendship maybe.
they didn't show him hiding for much- they should have because that's how the audience connects with him. and with him getting back/fighting we also would have cheered him on. that is how the growth of a character is shown.
even the romantic rivalry thing- we already knew that dr seo liked Eun Ho Won but they didn't write more scenes for it to progress further.
every character in here went just back and forth on everything they said.
Seo Woo Jin was constant(he did what was expected of it)
Ms. Cho maybe got herself back
and maybe kang ho got a little good but didn't got to see a decent growth in any corner of the drama
This drama is getting good reviews so. Started watching it. 2 episodes in and I was ready to drop this drama as…
people don't really want to watch a complicated issue such as this one but just as you said I too was hesitant to start the show but once I started it I didn't move until I had finished it all. certainly it deserves good reviews and more love.
No. 1 should most definitely be BAD GUYS,
2. VOICE
3. My Beautiful Bride
4. TEN(special affairs investigation team TEN)
5. 38 Task Force
6. Vampire Prosecutor
7. Cheo Yong
8. Tunnel
9. Neighbourhood Hero
the rest I haven't seen to comment on them. Missing Noir M is in my PTW list as well as My Secret Romance & Reset on hold
all they do is speculate things, or get angry. there's very tiny bits of actual investigation each episode. I'm not much impressed with the show so far.
