Well he suffers till the end because of the actions of his loved ones but he is not the real killer.
Well both of them are 2nd male leads. So it is always fixed that they won't get the girl(99.99% kdramas have it that way). BTW you just spoiled wol of love for me
I got tired of judges, court house and law by episode 16!I liked the story but the drama is missing something…
As far as I understand it, his character was the best written in the drama. And the drama centres around the mystery of who really killed kim ga yeoung which is a good plot than any romance plot. So in my opinion YWJ did get, if not more, what he deserved.
Well I still think kim ga yeong's rapists was someone else, probably the rapist of minor girls and judge lee's brother's murderer. Liked judge sah but didn't like the part where he slowly comes to like his friend's girl and especially her response to it. Imagine if it had happened to the main male lead. I'd have cursed her and so I didn't like the later on romance. But it was nice that the romance wasn't main plot of this and that it was very mildly put. At the start I just thought that this was just making fun of the justice system but hearing judge sah made me think differently but he was also somewhat biased since all we saw was how he is taking care of judge lee's cases. Overall it wasn't that bad a show to have watched.
This just gets boring after a while with him going in & out of detective's body. --I'm currently at episode 19 but they still don't realize that people look at him as he is the detective. But the dialogue are left as if it's 1st-2nd episode wherein we're left with the misunderstandings. --Also because more footage has given to the secondary character, as fas as I know, that is to the con man. --I'd have really liked to see more of the detective work rather than the tricks and the playing around. --it looks like role reversal for Jo Jung Suk in Oh My Ghost where the lead actress was a tree for ghosts and then comes the love part which is reversed too.
I have seen her dramas from 2015' THE PRODUCERS to the latest SHOULD WE KISS FIRST. I like her a lot and so I ask does she like doing these kinds of characters or she doesn't get to a choice? I mean I like these characters even more because she's playing them. But why are all of them 'weird' or 'not normal'
I have watched this one and UGLY ALERT where kang so ra was the main lead actress. And watching both of them was so very frustrating because I never got the romance quota fulfilled. During which I wished many times the male lead should just love someone else. But I like Shi Won too and so I finished both the dramas for their stories and the main male lead characters. Good dramas, both. Worth at least one watch. One more thing, I can't believe that Jae Hoon was the Jin Sang's brother in DRINKING SOLO. Really #surprised
It's not a story that I haven't seen, with exception to their ages. But I am watching this for both the lead actors. Only thing that bothers me is why did it had to have 40 episodes. Just looks dragging the storyline.
thanks! i was worried that this one too would follow that 'certain trend' and so my reluctance to start…
Well, I haven't been able to get back to this one but as @souldoc70 and @ctinav23 mentioned, and I too hope, that there's not much focus on that sort of trend.
is this like PERFECT WIFE?and Kim Sun Ah the crazy woman in it? i've been wanting to watch this but I am…
@Jane2016, @funkybabes
I'm at episode 16 but sorry to say the show is not to my satisfaction. it is a good drama but it's nothing that i'll remember watching. this antagonist i have seen her somewhere. and so is the badass lady Ah-jin, rather you get to see her more often than not. @Jane2016: you are sympathizing with BokJa because KSA is playing her. had it been someone else you'd have been so annoyed with her. and yes the cheating husband made hilarious comments but it was not enough to ever like him after he cheated(to begin with AhJin never really got me hooked onto her story. her character was so very superfluous. like she did everything and got the best results in everything. that's just not possible in real life. she never really stops and think about anything. as if there's someone telling her that if this goes wrong then do this, if this happens do this. I know she must have faced lot of things growing up without her dad but we never get to see totally distraught AhJin which keeps me always at a distance from her. she was more pretentious if you think about it. like if someone was pleasing(praising) her then she likes them or else. she liked BokJa until she was new but then later she just keeps reminding BokJa where her place is). @funkybabes: I am yet to find BokJa's empathetic side.
now that i'm here i don't know if I should go on and just finish it for the sake of finishing it. because i've lost a little interest since i found out BokJa's motive and because I know she's going to die.
EDIT(after 3hrs):
I did finish it! now this became memorable after episode 16 and the reason was how she came about to die. until then it was all so typical daily soap opera. @Jane2016 I understand why you'd sympathize with BokJa even if anyone had played her.
still I didn't ever liked AhJin, sure she looked cool and pretty but she's just not for me. and why is her daughter so much mature for her age(especially when JaeSuk is her father)? she never acts like a kid and that is why she's just like her mother NOT REAL. even though we already knew the end still it was a tragic end.
thanks for the recommendation(@funkybabes and @Jane2016)
@L0V3E: i love the show very much which is why i think the article lacks a whole lot(but maybe that's because…
@L0V3E: sorry if i came out to be criticizing. i was just trying to make the point that this drama is absolutely not at all like any other dramas where in for the sake of the plot or public demand things get told and then they just go with it. like maybe sometimes a romance is added unnecessarily or some characters are assumed to be trustworthy even when there is no such evidence to back that up. and it disappoints me when good shows.
good article though. Thanks to you i could say it out loud how i felt about this drama. again, THANKS FOR THE ARTICLE!
i'm watching it right now and i totally get what you're trying to say. i'm gonna finish it just for lee han nui and maybe for kim soo ro(when he is man)
the actors do try hard but it just doesn't click
@L0V3E: i love the show very much which is why i think the article lacks a whole lot(but maybe that's because you are trying not to give out any spoilers) which makes it sound like all the other dramas where the main lead has a disability, and you should know there are plenty of those. maybe you should have written down those 100 reasons you spoke of
It erks me out!
That's all I have to say about this one. There's not a strong script, characters, romance or even good dialogue at all.
And the drama centres around the mystery of who really killed kim ga yeoung which is a good plot than any romance plot. So in my opinion YWJ did get, if not more, what he deserved.
