How about you judge the drama after actually finishing the first ep or so, instead of listing a chaebol scenario,…
@manicmuse The way things she's saying him it looks like it will go just as I had predicted but now I am interested in his story. So let's see how it goes.
After episode 4: It pains my heart to see pil joo with that family and so i wonderif he'll ever feel at peace with all the choices he is making. After 6: It feels more like a romance between pil joo and mal lan than any other relation. Since the wedding is almost fixed I don't think pil joo will ever get a happy ending.

@manicmuse Thank you very much for that. I was gonna put it on hold for a month or so but i should be able resume it sooner. (I too don't really wish for her to be rich.) Iys just that there have been too many dramas with that theme.
How about you judge the drama after actually finishing the first ep or so, instead of listing a chaebol scenario,…
@shoes Still tell me what did i miss from the episode which won't lead me to the assumption/s i made? And why can't I make those assumptions? If it is misleading then you should have explained it to me how so. My comment was from the frustration of the kdrama industry which followed the same formula far too much than it should.
Let me finish his and i will tell you if its different or not.
How about you judge the drama after actually finishing the first ep or so, instead of listing a chaebol scenario,…
I am a kdrama fan 1st. But I still get excited to see the 1st episode of any drama i am starting. And so with that excitement whatever the emotions I went through while watching this one I just wrote it down to see if anyone felt the same. And I am saying it again that after watching enough dramas with such plots you can predict what will happen next. That is exactly what I was doing. But it seems ou still don't get it as you too judged me without knowing anything about me. And what was the 1st episode about? It was all about him being all rich ,rude, self-indigent and narcissistic and a little bit about her being not so rich and being humble and all. That is exactly what I had written in my 1st comment. Now You tell me what I had missed and i will correct myself.
I think you should watch more to judge a drama like that - I mean, yeah this is a cringy drama, predictable and…
Sure. Its a given that something must be good for the show to get such a response. The point i was trying to make was these dramas never come closer to reality and as a longstanding(not really that long) kdrama fan I really wish there'd be more of those dramas.
How about you judge the drama after actually finishing the first ep or so, instead of listing a chaebol scenario,…
I wrote it after I finished the episode was wondering if I really should watch more. And I don't claim to know it all but I have seen enough dramas to say about the scenario. If you don't get it then I suggest you watch more of the same themed dramas.
Iam at 1st episode but.... I hate the writers of these kind f dramas and in turn hate the poor lead. At 1st they make out a rich-rude-narcissistic lead come into existence, which is to my knowledge feels out of the world, but we the audience go with the idea. And then they make tthis rude lead fall in love with the poor lead. And then to prove and achieve this love the richer one also has to lose everything and become a poor person. I just don't like how they drag him down and make him look more pathetic than anyone. Through all of it only one person gets to keep their pride. And not like there aren't good partners for them to live happily amongst the rich. The rich, even the poor, do arranged marriages among their own. I get it that the rude ones must learn to respect others but the thing is humans don't really change that much to go from one extreme to the other. Point is the drama should, at least now, become closer to reality if not fully then partially.
It wasn't that good. I enjoyed only the office comic scenes only. Everything else I have seen it somewhere. Mind you there are some really good scenes but that's just it. I didn't think the story was any different from other dramas hence my indifference to the show. To my expectations it should have been more intense, more brutal to leave an impact. But it has become one of the more easily forgettable dramas I have seen.
Well to me the end scene of the 2nd episode looks stupid. It was alright for her to believe him but the hug and then then his embrace is totally not what should have happened there because according to her she was dating another man who was standing right there. And he was absolutely right to think and say those things.
Why did I start watching it? I tend to forget with her constant screaming voice and bad personality. Right I'm watching this for yoon hyun min who was impressive in Tunnel. Well that's all the good things about the show. Everything else is just the regular cliches of most of the Korean crime dramas, just the faces change. The writer tries very hard to make her look like a badass lawyer but fails to do so. For that to happen they made every single idea/plot come from her or made others a bit slow. Ms ma never really connects to the audience. And so the show loses its capability to keep the us interested in it for long.
Well he suffers till the end because of the actions of his loved ones but he is not the real killer.
But doesn't it shows how fearless he is!? That at his age, when he's dramas are doing well, he's accepted a role that a superstar would never choose to do. But I fear for him that now onwards he might get the 2nd lead roles, that I won't get to see him as the 1st choice for a leading role.
Well he suffers till the end because of the actions of his loved ones but he is not the real killer.
Well I have lot on my ptw list that it will take some time for me to get to wol. And honestly speaking, I wouldn't want to watch a drama wherein Jang hyuk is in the 2nd lead.
It is good enough to give it a one watch. In my opinion it was good except i didn't want whatever romance the showed in the final episodes. It was already a good drama.
Well he suffers till the end because of the actions of his loved ones but he is not the real killer.
If you think that han joon was not what she needed then my friend I think you haven't watched enough kdramas. There are many dramas that have the storyline where main leads families caused other's family harm and not just harm but killings and all. But their love prevailed and survived it all. Why? Because the writers made it so.
Also, if he could han joon would have taken care of her. I say this because he's handled every bad news bravely and has faced all the demons in his life upfront without running away from them, as what happens with most of the 2nd leads in kdramas. It's just that his best friend was there and he trusted him so much so he asked him to take care of her. Since the casting of the drama it was already decided that she will end up with judge sah and that is why there was never much focus on the love part till judge sah becomes interested in her.
@everyone, major MAJOR spoiler!!! I'm rewatching it, and I agree, it was a breath of fresh air after dropping…
@blademan2 I made the comment after watching the whole drama. I think differently because in the rape scene, what I feel, yhe perpetrator feels a bit younger and more strong since he drags her to the car and commits the crime. And for an old man to do that... nah I don't think so.
I don't want to put it like this but this one is made like a shounen manga style(except hero is the girl) where every episode is made to suit her choices, ideas and ideology. Regardless, Go Ah Ra's OhReum is a wonderful character and her acting fully makes it come alive. At the beginning I thought L's voice sounded a bit younger but as I went on with the drama his character grew more and more on me. And then the unrequited love story just makes you wanna like him even more. Also about Sung dong Il, I thought he didn't really have a role to play here but the later half proved it otherwise. And it made me think that the drama would have been incomplete without this character. The final two episodes were not upto what I wanted them to be but overall the drama is quiet enjoyable. There are some very touching rulings through the middle of it. Support characters were good too. If you enjoy watching law dramas you should watch it. If you've seen judge v judge, you should watch this too.
Pretty good build up. 1st 4-5 episodes are really good. They make you glued to your seats. Later episodes the script becomes weaker and more cliche where the villains come up strong and make threats come true and the heroes don't know the way out. The drama loses its pace between these episodes. The lovestory also feels a bit forced too as if the writer thought since it was going to happen later on lets just get it over with Lee hye young promises to be the villain of the year but the character fails to deliver. And making a judgement on a judge in the session they are presiding looks very stupid to me. but hey, what can say, they decided on it and made it come true but not so much convincingly, or at least I wasn't satisfied with it. All in all it was a decent watch. **if anybody thinks there's a spoiler in what I have said plz let me know.
