Looks good but from now onwards we need to add appropriate genre tags to titles( because I see so few recommendations for me) or k-industry needs to produce more dramas by each genre.
I think they all 3 are doing great, but the roles are all different she is a doctor chaebol so he has always been…
I have seen her in BLACK KNIGHT only. It was ok for me since there's not much scope for villains in such dramas. But she did her job well enough is what I think. And she IS beautiful!

Yes the roles are different but I am satisfied with her role and acting. As for character growth, I am not really worried about that. Hers is a sensible character. She never had time to be a spoiled brat since she's been shouldering the death of her surgeon's daughter all the time. That guilt, she positively directed to becoming a good enough doctor. And now she's to carry the death of her colleague's mother. And she IS doing it right. Since she's to rescue her hospital from her uncle and uncover his deeds she'll grow into that character. So I am not worried about that at this time of juncture.
Loved the couple! One thing though: The writer absolutely didn't know how to write sad scenes. All the happy scenes are pretty detailed but when it came to sad ones, the scenes ended quickly with fewer, shorter lines. It'd have been much greater drama if those scenes made me feel sense of loss(I really wanted to cry but it never went to that since the scene had ended b4 my tears could well up). Full of cliches and drama tropes but still dear to me ...this show.
After ep 4 This is stupid...for a genius conman he can't get HIMSELF out of any situation. And there wasn't any strong motive for him to get involved in being a body double.
What I think of HWARANG: This drama starts with trying very hard to be more modern and be a saguek simultaneously with the soccer and the music and male dancing but has a prejudice that a woman should not run the show. Next comes all the whining of a teenager that why can't he be the king. Though he wants to(at least that's what I think) he never really does anything about it and keeps weeping to the people who know he's the king. And so these people(teacher at hwarang house, FL, his lackey ,etc) keep flattering this pathetic boy. Then we have the boy's mother who's holding the throne, supposedly until the boy becomes strong(but without doing anything as she keeps saying). Since she's the Queen she keeps harassing only one family by any means possible. On the other hand we have dog-bird(as read in the English subs) who is headstrong and can't stand abuse of any kind by anyone. And so to protect his people he keeps on making brave choices. FL is strong and doesn't really sway from her beliefs but when she finds out about 'the boy's' identity she too turns flattering. Though it had a romance between seemingly brother and sister I didn't mind it, though it was a love triangle it didn't bother me much. What was most surprising was the twist at the end where after being convinced that he needs to be the king he drops everything at the words of 'the boy' and pledges alliance and support to him. Then he's suddenly become a superhero fighting wars, helping king, but managing love-life too. It was fun and it had a bit story but most of it was a waste of time. Still I loved the comedy and the romance.
Just finished 6th episode. Since it had a super- element to it, it should have ended with s01 only. All the real golden time teams must be solving cases based on their intuition and experience. They don't have someone with extraordinary abilities on their team. So there wasn't anything new that was going to be on this season. The criminal cases are sure new but if they had solved them like real detectives that would have been more fun and interesting. S01 was something new but now its become old concept for me to stay excited as I was for s01. It's become a show which I can leave anytime and not return. I read somewhere that Jang Hyuk left the show because he thought he wouldn't bring anything new to the show. That was a wise decision in my POV.
Edit:
Found it- Magic Castle.
His voice is beautiful. And that shot was perfect!
And she IS beautiful!

It's not really much of a new idea for a drama but food drama always fascinate me with their recipes and the way they enjoy eating.
