Wait a minute! Some viewers are bitching because there's no tragic setup for this series?! Wow. I'm enjoying it,…
Sadly, I think the "issues" some viewers are using, is too deflect their misplaced anger about Jang Eui stating that he might not act in another BL project again. I really think that if no one had ead that comment, there wouldn't be all this BS about "sexual harassment", due to a adjusted apron scene.

Wait a minute! Some viewers are bitching because there's no tragic setup for this series?! Wow. I'm enjoying it, because it's setup exactly as you posted: a rom-com featuring two gay men, falling for one another. It seems like the entire cooking staff are all gay men, so that's another plus in my viewpoint.

Well, the screenwriter for this series must have watched the Chinese Bromance series, "Advanced Bravely" or the other Korean BL series, "Where Your Eyes Linger" regarding the ear biting/playing bit from episode 3.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
The amount of positive reviews from non followers of ITSAY/BKPP only shows what I've said since the airing of…
Thank you for saying it!! The progression of the relationship between Teh and Oh-Aew was much more realistic and not BL fantasy than I think most viewers were not ready or wanting to see, that they're allowing their bitterness to disregard, how the journey of what Oh-Aew and Teh learned about each other, together AND apart, just might help them grow stronger as a united couple in their future.

Review I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
Mil, I cannot believe that another viewer shared my same thoughts about IPYTM. I purposely avoided looking at any initial commentary of the series after the second episode, because I knew that most fans would start to think that the shared love between Teh and Oh-Aew, explored in ITTSAY was based on lies, due to the totally realistic troubles they were facing in IPYTM. I for one am glad that the screenwriters explored the issues of how one half of a young and in love couple, may not at all be ready, willing, and able to see, deal, and accept how their other half may change, due to new interests, goals, hobbies, friends, AND becoming who they need to be NOT who you need them to become. I also liked how you hadn't vilified either Teh or Jai in their actions. They both were wrong and didn't want to see how they behavior could affect Oh-Aew or even Teh himself.

Thanks for providing your review.

Review I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
I am totally pissed because of the way people bashing Teh as well as the directors and writers just because reality…
After watching the series, I really wondered how the majority of the BL viewership would react to the series, especially after what Teh had done to Oh-Aew. Teh has never, ever been "perfect", but his feelings and thoughts that Oh-Aew had "changed" is what caused him to unconsciously try to find another person who still shared his same goals of a future in the acting world. I don't excuse his behavior, but I understand it. Teh couldn't understand what he was feeling, so there was no way possible for him to explain his feelings and actions to Oh-Aew.

Their breakup just wasn't about Teh kissing Jai. It was about the emotional cheating, the lying, and the real sense that Oh-Aew felt like Teh didn't value him as his boyfriend OR him as his own person. I don't think the screenwriters put in the kissing and cheating to only create drama. That breakup, was sadly a long time coming for the couple at that time in their relationship. Teh couldn't support and accept that Oh-Aew was changing and growing from the young boy that he fell in love with all those years ago and felt like Oh-Aew wasn't the same. Teh was the one that grew emotionally distant from Oh-Aew and he couldn't continue to let it happen OR stay silent and just accept it. I'm glad that the series showed Oh-Aew finally showing that as much as he loves Teh, he just couldn't stay in their relationship with him at that time. Oh-Aew was on his own path of true acceptance within himself and if he hadn't confronted Teh, I think he would unconsciously stopped his own evolution, in order to stay with him. I get those feelings don't ever get to be explored or expressed in the BL genre world, but I think it's a disservice to what can be further explored, developed, and shown in other stories that could be created in future series.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
I am going to ramble here, because I am still on a high from watching "I Promised You The Moon"

This sequel was just amazing, even the heartbreaking parts, which were so hard to watch.

This cast is so talented. I'm surprised that Billkin and PP haven't been in more tv series, because they are terrific performers.

Billkin (IMO), was able to portray the confusion of Teh and how he grew to not understand that both he and Oh-Aew would change. That change is apart of life and growing beyond the interests that you loved previously, doesn't mean that the person's love for you has diminished. Teh was jealous of every new thing and person that came into Oh-Aew's life, during their early years of college. Yet, Oh-Aew never behaved that way towards him. He knew that Teh needed to be apart of the creative world of acting. How Teh immersed himself in his theater group with his mentors Khim, Top, and Jai reminds me of how much of a theater geek, I used to be. Everything that he learned, Teh felt like he could conquer the acting world, as long as he had Oh-Aew by his side. He never kept Teh from that goal. Oh-Aew even tried to believe that Teh's interest in Jai, was purely for him to grow into a better actor. As for the whole Jai situation: I cannot and will not place ALL the blame of the breakup between Teh and Oh-Aew on him. Teh let himself have real feelings for this man, because he thought that they had a true connection over the joy and love of acting. Teh let himself write how he felt about Oh-Aew and the changes he was going through in that journal, which he kept from sharing with his boyfriend. How Teh hurt Oh-Aew was totally on his shoulders and he spent over a year regretting his behavior.

PP as Oh-Aew just made me adore him. How Oh-Aew allowed himself to blossom into the wonderful out gay young man, who embraced his feminine side was a relavation. How homesick and lonely he was, even when he had Teh by his side in the early years, shows how even when you have a boyfriend or girlfriend in your life, you definitely need to be secure in who you are and love who you are as an individual.

His group of fellow out gay college friends were such the support group that he needed.
Ta as Q reminds me of James as Pob from the "Don't Say No" series.

How Teh realized, that even though he was starting to achieve everything that he truly believed that he wanted: a thriving career as an working actor, he was miserable without Oh-Aew. His future was nothing without the man, that he loved. I mean, Oh-Aew knew him and his life so well.

It was realistic that Oh-Aew threw himself into his career and kept single, because he knew that he truly wasn't over Teh AND that he didn't want to give false hope to another guy, who likes him, after what happened with his first boyfriend Bas all those years ago.

I screamed when I saw Bas on the screen.

It took me awhile to recognize Tarn.

I will rewatch this series, along with I Told The Sunset About You on a yearly basis.

On Win Jaime's Heart Oct 26, 2021
Title Win Jaime's Heart Spoiler
I actually loved the premise of the story and I am so glad that Heart wasn't written to be a shrew and Jordan wasn't written and portrayed into being this effeminate predatory man. Winston's love and devotion towards Heart and their friendship, is what made him try to find her a new guy to win her heart. Also, his attention to her love life, kept Winston from doing anything regarding his own chance at happiness. Once Jamie saw him from looking at Heart's post on the Pinoy version of Facebook, he was all about winning Winston for himself. I'm glad that Jamie announced that he just couldn't make himself fall for Heart, when he had already given his heart to Winston. I still find it sad that mostly female viewers think that Heart was a meddlesome and unnecessary character in the storyline. I hope the creator is able to get another season.

Thank you! I liked that people had resaonable discussions about interpersonal issues instead of sulking somewhere…
Exactly. Mainly, both of those characters, that didn't have a chance with the other two male characters (that had been hiding their relationship since high school, I believe), were mostly embarrassed by not knowing anything, being kept in the dark about everything, and feeling foolish about having crushes on unavailable men. Nite kept telling them both, that those two guys were not meant for them. He couldn't tell them exactly why, but they chose to not listen to him and to not see anything about how those two behaved with one another. Those two behaved like they had a past history with each other.

I just finished this series and I was surprised by such a low viewer rating and lack of any word of mouth about it. As you clearly pointed out, there wasn't too many tropes used in any of the storylines, the lone female character wasn't written as a crazy shrew, and both of the male pairings didn't have any of the ridiculously pre-assigned top/bottom roles that infest most BL series from Thailand. I was also pleasantly surprised that ALL the characters were not still in high school or college. They may not all have jobs, but I was thankful that they weren't Engineer students, who also played the guitar.

LOL!! True. Sadly, we only have 3 more episodes to go, but I expect to see more comments from viewers, who just "can't understand" Aek, or the food competition, or just about anything else, due to the series "lack of onscreen exposition" in what's happening in the storyline, along with the complaints about "the dreaded episode 11 syndrome". I have been watching tv dramas for over 30 years and I just don't get how viewers complain about the penultimate episode. A ton of drama IS supposed to happen in that episode, in order to set up the series finale.
