Just watched episode ten. I came prepared this time, so my emotions actually held steady. Turns out bracing yourself…
"It’s an ugly board. But here’s what I keep coming back to. Qing Lang is willing to sacrifice. Chang Yang has the brains and the nerve. And love is the one move nobody at that table saw coming."

Chang Yang also has patience. He'll take another chance with Qing Lang.

The best thing about this series is the DADADAS in the opening credits tune.

Every 3 minutes, I have to remind myself to not try to use my brain. Everything we are seeing was just going off a vibes.

As sad as it was to see the first relationship get cut so short, I really like that the show is about finding…
Agreed. Chia Yi has experienced so much loss and pain in his young life, that he's basically hidden his fears, feelings, and tears behind a smile he shows to everyone else.

I know that some viewers don't like that Chia Yi's first love relationship with Hsaio Ho ended with his death, but both boys were able to express and experience a shared and returned love.

Chia Yi, now has friends, especially with Diao Chin by his side. Hopefully, Chia Yin's smiles will continue to become more genuine.

I know that parent/guardian characters aren't always wanted in these BLs/GLs, but the missing aunt of Chia Yi is bothering me.

Those two had an argument, and her underaged nephew left the house, and hasn't come back. For days.

I think they explained that Diao Chin's parents are working overseas.

Review Lost to You
As I said... it would not matter if he was gay, but times changes and just because he was not brave enough does…
I feel that the writers wanted to try and create a redemption for the father, in revealing that he too had fallen in love with a man in his past. It doesn't negate his homophopic abusive, and manipulative behavior witb his kids. His oldest is partially deaf, due to him being beaten by him. His youngest son, literally kept his terminal brain tumor diagnosis (which I don’t understand how that could happen, when he's still not a legal adult) from him, and chose to transfer high schools with his unseen aunt's help.

He even slapped his son, inside of the hospital, when he said that he was seeing another boy.

"But I think what makes The Lie a compelling watch is the way it adopts the attributes of a suspense thriller above all else."

When I started this series, I immediately thought of the suspense thrillers "Rope" and "Deathtrap" which both had homoerotic themes.

The kidnapped "victim" was the manipulative and murderous villain all along.

The contract killer being shaped and molded by his "savior" and the environment he was raised in as an orphan.

The cop, who really wasn't able nor prepared to do his duties, but went into that field, to find out the truth regarding his falsely accused of betrayal father's death.

It also felt like a play, with the three main characters, never leaving the house/location. Every other character, be it in the past, or present made an appearance in the house.

I love discovering little surprises like this being produced in this genre.

Have you watched "Me and The Boy Who Will Break Up in 100 Days" yet?

How was you and your husband's World Cup experience in Houston?

This show is what happens when you shoot outside the Great Firewall but still bleed inside itI keep thinking about…
We have been blessed to have these creatives from China, finally able to produce these BL series, in the way they have been wanting to for over a decade, by releasing them under other countries. It's no wonder why series like "Deep In The Act" and "A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills' Dream" are centered around the BL industry in their made-up fictional cities.

I wanna watch this series but i have a slight pet peeve. I dont watch a series or read a story especially if the…
"trope of virgin, spineless, pushover ukes with slutty, toxic, predator seme"

That's basically the entire plot line of Sorn (seme)and Jun (uke).

If you are into omegaverse and knotting, the same production company has released "Knot The Series."

Review My Stubborn
Hello, friend. I haven't been watching much BL (or television in general) of late, and hadn't even heard of Knot.…
I am fine. Just enjoying all the different types of BLs that we are getting from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and the never ending wave of BLs from China (that aren't actually produced/broadcast in China).

I am referring to Boat and Oat's latest BL as My Stubborn Knot.

China has thrown the shackles off of their censorship of producing BLs with total abandonment.

Thanks for the update. I really didn't expect a special episode, because this series isn't a BL (which seems to bother folks). I also didn't see Itsuki nor Yuma as the "villain" of the pairing.

I also hope that they do not chose a forced happy ending in romantically reuniting Yuma and Itsuki. If we are getting a follow-up/special episode, I hope it focuses on the separate lives of this former pairing and how they are individually dealing with their lives. They can each have their own version of HEA.
