Thanks for bringing up Ming. I, too didn't want him to have his HEA with Joe, but those two were made for one another. Joe's soul chose him twice, and Ming never really changed. He still was a manipulative a**wipe, but NOW he used his ways to make sure that his new superstar actor hubby's career would have no obstacles in his way.

All that Jimmy will provide Toh is the never-ending worry, that he'll never be truly "his".

Exactly, which is why the characters of Jimmy, Toh, Teh, nor Fah really don't need any sort of "redeeming qualities" for them to be "rootable". This is wish-fulfillment draped under the fantasy that Toh's and Fah's love will somehow "change" the behaviors of Jimmy and Teh.

I'm not upset, because Toh was going to set himself up for hurt, because dickmatized people do it all the time.

Toh is not using the logic part of his brain. He's going with how sexually good Jimmy makes him feel, thinking that if he just sticks it out, AND make Jimmy SEE that he's the only one that will take care of him, provide for him, and love him in only the way that he can, he will choose him in the end.

How many friends, relatives and even yourself needed a "snap out of it" intervention, when it came to that one guy or gal that got you so loopy over them, when they treated you like garbage?

When the parents took shots of that brown liquor, after seeing both of their sons making out, I laughed myself silly. These ridiculous plots work best in these short form series.

I'm a Gen X'er and how all of these characters are behaving isn't that mystifying to me.
The premise that Toh has absolutely no idea that his younger brother, best friend, and future boyfriend are players, is there for plot purposes only.

Immediately adds to my watch list.

Toh being nice to Jimmy, is exactly why he continues to flirt with him and made his move on him. At this point, Jimmy's not concerned at all about Toh nor his feelings. Jimmy is using Toh's interest in him, as a way to get back at both Teh and Fah for not taking his feelings for Fah as real, along with trying to make himself feel good, that at least Toh is attracted towards him.

Pure mess. 😃 😀 😄 😁

Fah has got Jimmy and Teh dancing to his tune, while virginal Toh is letting his heart overrule his brain regarding Jimmy.

Both brothers think that they are "special/exceptions", and that both Fah and Jimmy will be "different with them!" 😃 😀 😄 😁

This behavior is what ends friendships forever, but I can see that just like in the first season of "Only Friends", Jimmy and Teh will somehow forgive each other for all the secrets, lies, and manipulation they put themselves through over Fah and Toh.

Fah is definitely getting a thrill out of how sprung Teh is over him, to the point that he knows Teh is lying to Jimmy. He's not even showing concern or worry about Toh finding out that his friend is having sex with Teh.

No one on that entire campus hasn't told others about Fah's "no seconds" rule?

I hope this series maintains at least 80 percent of what was shown in the pilot!!

Exactly. Jimmy, Teh, and Fah will have to experience real hurt to truly understand who they are, in order to be able to deserve the love that they want in their lives, and who they want to express their love in return. They all have this facade, that tries to cover their issues of not being willing to put themselves out there to experience real connections with the people they say they are attracted to.

Fah seems to believe that he's playing some sort of game in who he chooses to be with. He's the one that likes to be in control. Calling the shots. That one young lady, and now Teh. He pressed with Teh to see how far he could get with him, even having sex with him, in the same room as his brother, and BFF were in.
To be honest, that scene didn't shock me. As a former 20 something, I have experienced having to hear drunken friends getting down in the same room that I and others were sleeping in.

Teh, who believes that he's "different" from Jimmy, because he's not sleeping around with many people, yet he IS putting himself out there, without any understanding of what he wants, because he doesn't feel the instant heartbeat of romance.

Jimmy is exactly how many young 20-something males behave. They will sleep with anyone that catches their sexual interests. They aren't trying to be exclusive, with only one person. He's honest about it, but he's also absolutely clueless about his feelings for Fah and Toh. He says he likes Fah, but has experienced his interest being dismissed by him over, and over again. Yet, he unknowingly seeks out comfort from Toh. The nice, and cute older brother, of his best friend.

What I am wondering about is Toh. How does he not see the player behaviors of his best friend, his younger brother, AND the best friend of his younger brother?

This is the college version of BGMB!!

This looks to have the potential to be a very good series.

Exacty. Gyeon literally had 10 years to confess to Do Ha. Do Ha wasn't atempting to focus on his romantic life at all, being a 27 year old, who had never ever in his life dated, nor kissed anyone, so Gyeon had plenty of time to make his feelings known towards him. What got me was Gyeon's violent possessiveness towards Do Ha. He behaved like everyone was a threat to him and his relationship with Do Ha. That's not the height of romance to me, but I guess this works for this particular plot.

I guess him giving up his life for Nawa's love is suppose to redeem Phraphai, but all I could think of was that Nawa, Phu, AND Phraphai could have survived, without all the pain and trauma IF Phraphai could have accepted Nawa's rejection.

It was a crazy finale, but I guess as long as two couples got their HEA it's a win.

Well, this particular "Regular Viewer of BL" enjoyed the points regarding the comparisons of the situations the mermen/merpeople face on this Thailand island to the bigotry that sadly still many LGBTQ people face in many parts of the world.
