YESSS this comment deserves a whole panel at BL Con 😭👏Tai and Sorn giving workplace romance advice like…
“I am loved. I am chosen. I will never speak first again.”

And then they brought out the guitar.

😃 😀 😄 😁

yea i need them in something else! it’d be such a waste of their chemistry to not have them act together again,…
They would have to be cast in something not produced by MFlow.

"I think I love you now." What every person who settles for/accepts from someone, just to be in a relationship.

The peak of romance.

Tai and Sorn (of all the characters in this fever fujohsi fantasy) advising the random plot device to focus on work and not love in their workplace made me laugh out loud.

Then we had both Semes re-staking their claims on their Ukes in the stairwell.

The Stepford Uke conversion has been completed for both Jun and Champ. Mission Accomplished.

Omegaverse revolves around a strict hierarchy of alphas, betas, and omegas. Alphas are horn dogs, omegas are incubators…
Will this series also have Alphas that can knot, along with Omegas that will self lubricate when they go into heat, whenever they're near an Alpha?

Its not just any dique though its the delicious kind, attached to a tall statuesque of a man! 🥰😋👌👌
But initially, Jun wasn't allowed to be outside on his own, because he was seen as a minx, who wouldn't be able to handle the big bad world by himself. He needed Tai or Sorn to guide him in everything. 😉

I don’t think I’ve disliked a main character as much as I dislike Sorn, I swear. I can’t with him…
It totally is, but it's a BL, so everything has to be tied up into a pretty BL bow, with all of the couples together, forever in never-ending love with one another.

Ever wonder why we watch what we watch? It’s rarely for the reasons we admit.Take Marvel movies, for instance.…
"It reminds me that stories don’t just reflect who we are—they reveal what we’ve lived."

It has been an interesting experience, because commentators have been really honest about interpreting the behaviors of these characters through their own experiences, and that yes, MY STUBBORN is a Yaoi fever dream brought to vivid visual format in this BL, we don't live in the world of Yaoi nor BL.

Sorn and Tai are still withholding, controlling individuals, who are terrified in telling the men that they supposedly care for, that they are in love with them, because once "I Love You" comes out of their mouths, their sense of control is gone.

While we have Jun and Champ finally realizing that they are the ones that truly have control in who they will allow into their lives as a long-term romantic partner. I don't recall how long Tai and Champ have been friends, nor how long they've also maintained a sexual relationship with one another, but it seems like Tai only turns on the charm, is when he needs to get his nut released. Champ doesn't want to take the risk of moving beyond being friends with Tai and has become resolved in knowing that he's okay with having sex with him.

While the resolution of the relationship between June and Penny was completely done offscreen, yet again proving that these GL pairings are always an afterthought in these BLs.

I don’t think I’ve disliked a main character as much as I dislike Sorn, I swear. I can’t with him…
Well, let's be completely honest here. Sorn really isn't supposed to be "redeemed". He's supposedly always "loved" Jun, but his issues with almost being jailed as a sexual predator made him leary of admitting his feelings, so in this BL world, him "teaching" Jun how to appreciate the joy of sex (with only him), was in Sorn's mind the only way he could allow himself to be with Jun. He didn't realize that his need for Jun would overcome his need to hide his feelings. Now, he's ready to give up some, and it only is some of his questionable behavior, in order to get Jun to let him back into his life, and his bed. Sorn is to manipulative, demanding, controlling, jealous and possessive, but as long as "I love you" has been uttered by him, then everything is okay.

I heard some Hollywood couple, now divorced of course, had a prenup that required sex a certain number of times…
Jun is establishing boundaries, like a good little Uke and even though Sorn is continuing to push those boundaries, as a Seme is supposed do, he's enjoying that Jun is still allowing him to be in his presence.

The inclusion of Tos as the last minute "rival" for Tai to prove his true love towards Champ is totally unnecessary, because Champ will accept Tai in the series finale next week.

I enjoy that we have a BL that actually portrays the sexual desire, need, and love these couples have for one another as a positive thing. The playfulness of them teasing each other.

I still think that if Ton actually does support P and Pan in their personal relationship with one another, that he would stop insisting that they must keep their relationship from being found out by the shippers of PJ and Pan.

"Penny deserved better than being written as a clingy, sexually aggressive distraction. The real crime? She’s…
"She’s assertive about what she wants? She’s pushy and annoying. Jun is passive and gets swept along? He’s sweet and deserving of protection. It’s wild."

It’s very weird and wild, because many of these original stories that are adapted into BLs are written by women. These production companies pay people to seek and research stories that have high ratings and view counts, so they are choosing plots/themes that they know are popular, hoping that that popularity will turn into a successful BL series in return. So they continue to keep writing these female characters in these two disparate ways all the time.

"What shows have you seen that actually do female characters justice? I’m always looking for BL that breaks out of these patterns."

Hmm... Gameboys The Series, Cherry Magic (Japanese version), My Love Mix Up (both Japanese and Thailand versions), and Ossan's Love, and their numerous sequels/spinoffs (except the Thailand version).

Pearl, Nozomi, Hashimoto/Matmi, and the amazing Choko/Francesca. They were given agency, interests, their own goals, and lives outside of just being supportive to the main male leads, and their love lives. Pearl got her own spinoff from Gameboys.

The lack of development of the Tai and Champ relationship was a complete afterthought by the screenwriters and director of this series.

I received a lot of interesting comments about my post that I don't think Sorn and Jun should end up together.…
"He still was playing games with Jun's emotions (i.e., "No, I'm telling you when I first liked you. You tell when you first liked me."). I paraphrased, by the way."

Sorn is still playing the control game with Jun, but this time Jun is aware of Sorn's need to feel like he's the one in control. Jun now knows that he's the one that can actually deem what he wants to happen with Sorn. Sorn will listen to him now, especially when he wants to have sex with him again.

Jun pushed Sorn away twice, when he couldn't keep his tongue from being included in their makeout session in the bathroom. Sorn stopped advancing on him. Jun noticed it. Any other time, in previous episodes, Sorn would have pulled Jun inside of one of those stalls and continued on with his "teaching" of Jun.

Sadly, in the BL world, this is viewed as "growth" for both Sorn and Jun.

If Jun’s Cool with Sorn, Who Are We to Object?Fair point. Jun has agency—and if he decides Sorn is worth the…
"Penny deserved better than being written as a clingy, sexually aggressive distraction. The real crime? She’s vilified for agency, while Jun is infantilized for passivity. Classic."

Amen!! Penny and Jun are the same, regarding their places in their relationships with June and Sorn, but Penny is viewed and treated by a segment of the viewingaudience (and sadly any female character) as this unnecessary entity, because they're not written to help in getting the main male leads together, nor written as the proxy version of the fujohsi ( female characters screaming in the background in glee over their co-workers, fellow high school/college students being romantically involved with one another i.e. History's Stay Away From Me, History4 Close To You, Fish Upon The Sky).

I won't speak for anyone else, but I am just so tired of seeing this portrayal of so-called "supportive" female characters in BLs.

We cannot give you SornJun NCs for two episodes so please take these ThaiChamp! 😁
That's exactly what those sscene were between Thai and Champ. A placeholder for NC scenes we would have gotten for Sorn and Jun. We have literally had an NC scene between those two characters in almost every episode, except for episode 9 and episode 10. Sorn has to put in work, effort, and emotion to get Jun's cookie again.

"I think that's messed up. For once, I'd like to see a BL where the arrogant, SOB, seme/top actually get that they deserve and that's "is not get the guy in the end and the guy get with someone better!". LMFAO!!!"

Sadly, that will probably never, ever happen in a BL. It breaks the BL fantasy of the Seme that "changes" for the Uke.
