Thank you! I liked that people had resaonable discussions about interpersonal issues instead of sulking somewhere…
Exactly. Mainly, both of those characters, that didn't have a chance with the other two male characters (that had been hiding their relationship since high school, I believe), were mostly embarrassed by not knowing anything, being kept in the dark about everything, and feeling foolish about having crushes on unavailable men. Nite kept telling them both, that those two guys were not meant for them. He couldn't tell them exactly why, but they chose to not listen to him and to not see anything about how those two behaved with one another. Those two behaved like they had a past history with each other.

I just finished this series and I was surprised by such a low viewer rating and lack of any word of mouth about it. As you clearly pointed out, there wasn't too many tropes used in any of the storylines, the lone female character wasn't written as a crazy shrew, and both of the male pairings didn't have any of the ridiculously pre-assigned top/bottom roles that infest most BL series from Thailand. I was also pleasantly surprised that ALL the characters were not still in high school or college. They may not all have jobs, but I was thankful that they weren't Engineer students, who also played the guitar.

How come so many in this comment section cannot come to this obvious conclusion or at least feasible possibility…
LOL!! True. Sadly, we only have 3 more episodes to go, but I expect to see more comments from viewers, who just "can't understand" Aek, or the food competition, or just about anything else, due to the series "lack of onscreen exposition" in what's happening in the storyline, along with the complaints about "the dreaded episode 11 syndrome". I have been watching tv dramas for over 30 years and I just don't get how viewers complain about the penultimate episode. A ton of drama IS supposed to happen in that episode, in order to set up the series finale.

The pace is slow, but I believe that's something that the director wanted to set for the series. I have no problem with it. I am just loving that I am seeing a BL story that is attempting to show gay male characters as professional working adults. That Aek is bridging the gap between college and establishing a career in a field that he loves. That Aue has been basically in love with him, from the moment that Aek stepped inside of his kitchen. I don’t doubt Aek's love for Aue at all. It makes sense that he has doubts about his feelings, because he's never let himself focus on anything else other than getting his college degree to make his Mother happy. Also, it's great to see the younger gay male character having issues with his own acceptance. If it's too slow, challenging to understand, and it seems, not enough sexual scenes, please do yourselves a favor, put yourselves out of your own self-inflicted injury and please stop watching.

Because I think the majority of BL viewers are used to the cutesy background sounds, that help signify what is supposedly going on with the characters that are onscreen for a particular scene.

I enjoyed this series. It was rough, in the beginning, due to the relative newness of most of the actors, but I ended up enjoying it all. Loved that it wasn't based in a high school/college setting AND it was centered on this fantasy of a love god being falling in love with a mortal, who wasn't clearly seeing reality, in regards to his own love life.

Review My Love Mix-Up! Spoiler
I'm glad that other viewers are seeing similarities between "Kieta Hatsukoi" and "Cherry Magic". This series has started off very well with their plot. Aoki slowly discovering that he IS finding himself having feelings for both Hashimoto and Ida.

I'm really enjoying "Kieta Hatsukoi". I love that we either get super sweet love stories like "Cherry Magic" or really adult and sexualized dramas "Mood Indigo" with these Japanese love stories. I like all 4 of the main characters so far.

Title Don't Say No Spoiler
I soooo agree with u about Leo n Fiat relationship.. Most of the people are just stuck on that one conversation…
"Both Leo and Fiat have some serious emotional and attachment issues and therapy would be a good option for them. A relationship like theirs would never last in real life and things would end up real bad for someone."

Exactly. Fiat's need to basically "show his belly" to Leo in deference to appeasing the very insecure part of Leo, is him trying to "make up" for all the years of him not believing in Leo's love for him. What will be enough for both of them to be secure? Why wasn't that established in the series for Leo and Fiat, instead of that incredibly misplaced sex scene?

Review Don't Say No
Hahah!!! I am glad that I wasn't the only viewer taken aback by the disturbing scene, in which Fiat was okay with hearing that Leo's fears about Fiat leaving makes him want to keep Fiat locked up inside some woodshed that Leo only has access to get inside. I just don't get why that over the top obsessive and possessive trope is constantly used in these tv adaptions of Mame's stories. Is she working through something that she experienced in her own life, and is using these situations and having two male characters reenacting it, because it's deemed "different" by her audience?

This series was wonderful. I want to see more from this director, screenwriter, along with the two main actors.

I know that there is another segment of the Innocent series airing later this month.

I find nothing wrong with the time length of these episodes. The storyline has a good star and the chemistry between the main couple and the group of friends/co-workers is fantastic!!

I cannot watch this series and not end up craving Thai food. I also end up thinking that Pharm from UWMA should turn up here to intern for the summer with the pastry chef!!
