Omg, the teaser for next episode! Tian Zhen trying to hug Tou Tou, omg I'm so excited. I personally think they have really good chemistry, I know some people think they don't but I think they do and I love romance so I'm hyped. I don't think it'll become a major plot line but I'm glad we're getting something. I wouldn't feel bad if there was no romance because it's not a romance drama but I'm personally happy we're getting it

I cannot believe he is selling the house for the apprentice class! That's crazy, why on earth would you do such a thing? And the parents agreeing immediately was insane to me. I do understand where the mom was coming from after Tian Zhen got hurt, heck I probably would react the same, but I do wish she'd listened to her. I'm glad it didn't hurt Tou Tou and I like how Tian Zhen was standing up for her but I do wish she'd allowed her to explain. Also, Tian Zhens frown when Tou Tou was talking to mr Liu's son, he totally was feeling some jealousy. I have watched my fair share of romances, boy was definitely not loving another boy giving Tou Tou a gift. I can't believe it was him who stole the ginseng 😭 Just so he could give it to Tou Tou. Such a teenager thing to do. Also, side note, Meng Meng dusting Tou Tou was so cute. I loved how Tou Tou started off confused but slowly started going along with it. Only one episode tomorrow :( But seriously, I'm loving this series and it might end up becoming a favourite

I really really loved the new years scene, with RTZ chasing TT around. It was so wholesome <3 Also, they are definitely hinting at a romance between the two of them like the little glances RTZ gives TT also him being willing to defy his father and get in trouble for her/with her just so the apprentice classes can keep happening because Tou Tou doesn't want to leave again makes my heart flutter. Saw the preview for next episodes and I really am getting upset with how the mom never trusts TT, even when she's done so much to prove she deserves that trust. Also, the way Rebecca is like shopping for the perfect baby daddy is so cute. The romance between her and Peng Shi Yan is going to start soon, I'm sure. Overall loved these episodes, loving this show, really nervous for next episode tho

I am so glad that they finally had Tou Tou bring up her past with complete sincerity and not had her laugh right after. Seeing her be completely vulnerable was really nice to see, it shows how she is starting to trust RTZ more. I knew the tile pee thing didn't actually work but I didn't expect it to be a full on lie and it's honestly a bit disappointing. Giving Jian Xi and her mother false hope about her recovery doesn't really sit right with me, I can see why he did it but I don't think it was right. Another thing, mr Liu's son is very cute and I hope he comes back. As for Tian Zhen, I don't like how he tricked his mom into letting Meng Meng stay but whatever. Also I thought it was nice that he noticed Tou Tou's reaction to the song and asked her about it. Plus the two of them shopping together is cute, and I like how Tou Tou looked up one of the places he wanted to go because it shows she is starting to care for him . Still not fully shipping but it was nice. Speaking of his mom, it is so clear that Tou Tou respects her a lot and cares for her so it makes me sad that she is still not accepting her fully. Hopefully that will change. Ps go Rebecca, her scene with Chen Hui was really intense and I'm proud of her.

I don't hate Meng Meng, I honestly think she alone as a character is cute and actually quite sad. My problem is the relationship between her and Tian Zhen. Is it her fault RTZs behaviour worsened after her introduction? No, of course not, she's not telling him to behave in such a way. But the truth is her relationship with Tian Zhen is SO inappropriate, they need to be separated. Becoming that emotionally dependant on someone is extremely unhealthy, especially your doctor. Yes, doctors date their patients all the time but Meng Meng has a child like mental state and is extremely fragile. Dating her at this time would be, in my opinion, taking advantage of her. I honestly don't care about a TT and Tian Zhen romance at this point, to be honest I think she should date Li Quan. He respects her, he's kind, their personalities suit each other well, and his story is more interesting. But he's obviously going to end up with her friend. For Meng Meng, the end credits are setting her up to die which is what I think her purpose is. To be a growth and development push for TZ. But the people saying there is nothing wrong with her relationship with TZ are wrong. Being emotionally dependant on your doctor is not a good thing, at all. So to recap, my problem isn't Meng Meng herself but her relationship with Tian Zhen

Tian Zhen really is the definition of 1 step forward, 2 steps back in episodes 15 and 16. He was doing so well from 12-14 but then beginning of episode 15 and he's back to setting Tou Tou up( you cannot convince me that Tian Zhen did not mention beggars chicken so she would try it out herself and get in trouble. Not with that reaction). Then he sells the birth charm thing, which I find so disrespectful. His grandmother made that for him herself and he sold it just like that? How incredibly rude. I don't get why Tou Tou covered for him, he deserved to be lectured. Yes it sucks that his dad doesn't remember his age but he's been getting by too easily with his actions, he NEEDS to be properly punished. Not to mention his relationship with Meng Meng is getting way too intimate. She is dependent on him atp and with her child like mental state and emotional instability, the fact that they might be setting up a romance gives me the ick. She needs to go, his mom is absolutely right, and she needs to see a therapist because something else is going on. Something that no TCM can fix, it seems like something else happened besides the ectopic pregnancy but I don't know what. Aside from Tian Zhen, I really hope they give Li Quan more screen time because he's my second favourite character. I'm loving his relationship with Tou Tou and I think they honestly suit each other so well, I want to see more of them together. I was quite disappointed in Tou Tou for stealing the chicken but I'm happy she immediately realised her mistake and apologised, something TZ can never seem to do. Nervous for next episode because I did not like that look Tian Zhen got after Tou Tou asked if he was into Meng Meng. MM really needs to leave, I wish TZ would wake up and realise how wrong his relationship with her is.

I can't believe he kicked her out for that😭 blowing it out of proportion imo, like he made such a huge deal out of basically nothing. Yes they got food poisoning but how is that her fault? She didn't make the food or force anyone to eat it. But can we talk about Tian Zhen? Cause he's become so much better. Like he runs across the city to help Tou Tou and is willing to accept blame along side her so she can come back, his SMILE when he calls/texts her, Tian Zhen has come so far. I love their interactions and I lowkey ship them. Plus those teaser clips that are going around of them are super cute and I am excited to see the episodes they're from.

Episode 12 is such a nice, relaxing episode. It's a good palate cleanser if you are also tired of mean RTZ because he's actually really good this episode. I really enjoyed seeing him interact with Tou Tou, from him teaching her to skateboard to the interactions at the festival, it was so wholesome. Hopefully this is the start of the redemption arc. Still want a verbal apology from him but this is a start. Also, I'm happy they were able to help LQ get a job and find a place to live.

Title Gen Z
If Li Quan becomes the villain, I'll be sad. Like he's the second most likeable male character behind Dr. Ren to me, he's the only one of the trio that isn't like actively bullying Tou Tou everytime he sees her, he just seems to be jealous. But if they are trying to set him up as the villain, why are they making Tian Zhen be the one doing the villainous sh*t? Like he's one of the male leads, he's in the front of the poster, but they're making him act in such a way that almost the entire viewer base hates him. Like why? Why would you do that to who you've advertised as one of the three most important characters? Sigh. Anyway Li Quan doesn't deserve to become the villain, nor does he deserve the treatment Tian Zhen gave him in episode 10. Seriously, Tian Zhen is really acting like a villain. He better shape up real quick istg. Somehow this turned into a RTZ rant but oh well

Title Gen Z Spoiler
Why is Meng Meng in this show?Cause episode 11 featured basically none of her and it didn't change anything... Also, Tian Zhen is far less cruel when she isn't in the picture. Please say I'm not the only one who notices it? While he still isn't kind to Tou Tou, he actually offers to help her with her punishment and is willing to listen to her about what she has to say related to the sick girl, like I was actually able to enjoy their interactions. He still needs to apologise and atone for his actions but without Meng Meng, Tian Zhen becomes tolerable again. So can she get better and leave already? She is ruining Tian Zhen as a person and her growing dependency on him is really bad news.

in the drinking scene, I was finding their interactions lowkey kinda cute and I thought we were getting the start of their growth to friendship/maybe love but then he abandoned her on the bench 😭 I thought he would come back for her after a few seconds but he really just left her there 💔 I am surprised he didn't get in more trouble, what he did could have actually hurt her. It's obvious he just wanted her to get in trouble and be kicked out, he didn't want her to get hurt but his actions should have bigger consequences. Anyway, hopefully his growth will start soon because I'm tired of bully TZ.

I am enjoying this drama so far. Usually for cdramas, I'm more of a fantasy/ wu xia person but Tiktok convinced me. So far I'd say it's a 7/10 with a likelihood of moving higher the farther in we get. What I think a lot of people are missing is these charecters are not meant to be perfect and completely loveable. They are meant to be flawed and they are meant to grow and learn from their mistakes. Yes TT is rude, can be insensitive, and can be aggressive but she is protective of her friends, she stands up for others even if her methods aren't the best, she is funny, and she is overall a kind person. RTZ is rude and mean to TT but he's also caring and is doing his best. Dr Ren is not a good dad but he is a good doctor and mentor. These charecters are human, they are flawed multi faceted people who will learn and evolve over the next 30 or so episodes. I don't understand why so many people aren't seeing that. As for if there will be a TT x RTZ romance, I think there will be. They set up the perfect enemies to lovers meet "cute"(it wasn't cute but that's just the term) and it will probably evolve into friendship then to love. Not to mention her saying initially how handsome she thinks he is and how she'd bring him home as a boyfriend to her roommate. But I geuss we'll see. Over all, I'm really enjoying this and can't wait to see more.

You know how in the preview for episode 11, we learn Ryung Goo has killed someone? ( I guess it could be someone else but the voice was over a clip of him so I'm assuming it's him) I think it's going to be those men who attacked his mom. When he is grown, he is going to hunt them down and kill them for what they did. Probably not the first one to think of this but the theory just popped into my head and I wanted to share before I forgot.

So, I just watched episode 10 and, omfg, my hatred for Nuts dad has grown astronomically. What a piece of s**t.
To clarify, I am talking about the dad. Sib sucks
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear Apr 17, 2022
Ahh,Nuts development these past two episodes is fantastic. He is clearly still struggling, and it's now confirmed that his dad was a homophobic ahole, but the way he has handled the situations have improved dramatically and I love it. Also Tofu lowkey dissing Jan was everything! I am so happy with these two episodes and I can't wait for the next two. But back to Nuts dad, I hateee him and the next episode preview added fuel to the fire. He is homophobic and manipulating and (based on the rug burning scene we got a glimpse of a few episodes back) I would not be surprised if he turns out to be either physically or emotionally abusive. But back to the happy-ish things. I'm eager to see how the Tharn plot turns out and where they go with it as well as learning what is happening to the downstairs objects. The couples both had really cute moments these two episodes and I was smiling so much it hurt. The scenes where Tofu asked about if loving another man was illegal and talked about men being human too were great but my favourite was the scene after their off scene intimate scene where Tofu says he will stay by Nuts side and hold his hand until he is able to be himself in public. Just, these are the best two episodes yet so I can't wait for what comes next (again, screw the dad and the teacher too. Alsosociety) Sorry this was long but I wanted to get all my thoughts out.
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear Apr 11, 2022
Am I the only one getting vibes that Nuts dad was abusive? Also, I really feel bad for Nut. He is clearly struggling due to what is happening with his mom but also, seeing Tofu is probably a constant reminder of his high-school years which, from what we've seen, were not very good. Tofu ,when he said the line about the lips in the most recent episode, it clearly was something Nuts former special someone had said in the past and it brought those memories back when he heard it again. Obviously violence isn't the answer and he needs therapy but I don't like that some people are making Nut out to be a bad guy. He is hurting and struggling . Hopefully he will be able to get over his troubles and live happily with Tofu

Title Love Stage!!
I saw the ep 5 teaser that Ryou attempted to kiss Anda while he was sleeping (like a soft kiss), is that counted…
Legally, I am not sure. But for me, a light peck would not be considered SA as long as it was brief and didn't go farther. I'll probably wait till the show finishes airing so I can look at reviews to see if that scene happens.

I am trying to decide whether to watch this or not. I've watched some of the anime version but stopped after the SA scene and the way they handled it. I know the Japanese live action cut that part out but with Thai bls having a history of including SA but not acknowledging that it's actually SA, I'm afraid they aren't going to cut that scene out. Would someone please let me know if they do because I really like the premise of love stage but I don't want to see that scene ever again. Thank you :)
