There is nothing wrong with people disliking Hua Yong and not wanting to watch him do what he is doing. Nor is there a problem with liking him and finding him compelling. As someone else said, he is meant to be morally gray and do unethical things. But I wish people would stop saying that we shouldn’t be discussing that. This is the fun of media, isn’t it? Having feelings about the things you are consuming and discussing it with others, for me it is almost as engaging as watching the drama itself. I personally do not like Hua Yong, his behavior makes me deeply uncomfortable and I don’t particularly want to watch him do what he is doing to Shao You any longer. Even my investment in the side couple might not be able to pull me through as they just aren’t getting enough screen time for me to push through. But that’s me. You are allowed to feel differently about it. Art is subjective and people have different limitations on the level of toxicity they can handle from a love interest. Just wanted to put that out there.

He Rufei is the worst, I feel like my day is ruined every time he is on my screen. Very much awaiting the vengeance that He Yan was talking about. Chancellor Xu and the dad too. Just I want a Love Like The Galaxy level revenge scene for this drama. He Yan as Ling Buyi, wiping these evil sobs out. Please I beg 😭

I think Xiao Jue, deep down, knows that the He Yan he knows, the one who has fought for him, bled for him, been blinded for him, and been endlessly loyal to him, did not purposely send the troops late. Because if he did, if he truly thought that, he would have killed her on the bridge. But when she said that she wanted to discover the truth about what happened, he agreed to let her instead of killing or banishing her. It’s not just because he is hopelessly in love with her, I’m convinced that somewhere in his subconscious he knows it couldn’t have been her. He just hates that she lied to him

Am I the only one who was really getting the ick from Hua Yong in the trailer for episode 8? I do not want to watch him take advantage of Shao You, I will most definitely skip through that scene but I also really don’t like that he has been changing Shao You’s body without his consent and essentially drugging him with his pheromones. If there are no scenes with Gao Tu this episode, I will probably speed through it. I’m really only watching for the side couple anyway. I was enjoying the main couple fine but the last few episodes have really made me feel like Shao You deserves better

Maybe I’m delusional but I feel like Xiao Jue might take the He Yan being He Rufei reveal kind of ok? I watched the trailers for tomorrow’s episodes (and only those 2 so please no spoilers if you’ve watched the other trailers) and I feel like it might go better than I previously thought. He obviously will be pissed but he is a reasonable guy, I feel like he will try and hear her out. Their entire relationship from the time she joined his camp has involved a lot of communication and they are both level headed people so I just have a feeling it won’t be that bad. It’ll make things uncomfortable for a few episodes but it won’t be a relationship ruining, they barely recover type thing. Maybe, hopefully

Not to question the science of an omegaverse mpreg story but there is something I can’t stop thinking about. The virus that made everyone ABO and killed all the AB blood types, is it still around? If it isn’t, why aren’t there AB blood type people again? Blood type isn’t genetic I’m pretty sure, there’s no way that type AB babies wouldn’t keep getting born. Unless the virus killed the ability for them to ever be born again. Also did everyone in the world get the virus? There are 8 billion people in the world and every single one got the virus? Idk why I’m questioning the science of this show but I can’t get these things out of my brain.

I feel like I’m the only watcher here that doesn’t actually mind the lack of kiss scenes. The editing is awkward for sure but I don’t think there being no kissing is that bad. I’m still getting butterflies. I’d rather there be no kissing scenes but lots of loving looks and flirty dialogue than lots of kissing scenes that are uncomfortable to watch and make the actress uncomfortable. Also passionate doesn’t equal intimacy. People can have passionate romantic love for someone and not kiss or sleep with them. It’s about how much you love them and your dedication and care for them that make it truly passionate. In my opinion. So I think the name still applies

I think tomorrow is going to be the last of the happy era😭 because there are still cute scenes from the trailer that we haven’t seen yet so I’m assuming those will happen next episode and then sad era will begin. I’m not ready, I love these two so much and I just want them to be happy together.

I really hate Tong..

Tong= the source of all issues. This man needs to gtfo because he is ruining Ming and Mays relationship (he knows Ming likes him, I’m certain of it). He is also the reason Ming is such a red flag. I am totally in love with Joe as a protagonist. He is so sweet and I just want the best for him. Which is why I’m low key team Sol. I am totally colorblind when it comes to Ming(it’s my toxic trait, liking red flag boys with jealousy problems that should be in therapy)but at the same time, Joe deserves better. Hopefully the two year gap will give him enough time to reflect and change his behavior. So far I am really enjoying this.

I am so conflicted right now about how to feel when it comes to Li Quan. Sometimes I feel bad for him but other times he's being really sinister and I don't like him at all. I understand why Tou Tou lied, her reasoning is understandable but I think the method was wrong. As Dr Ren pointed out. I am so anxious about when she's going to find out she's not actually the successor, we only have 6 episodes left so it's going to be soon I imagine.
But onto the happy parts. Omg Tian Zhen and Tou Tou are so cute, and they seriously get cuter every episode. I love how he called himself her husband.
I love that Cheng Ning has a boyfriend now, I'm so happy for her. And the boyfriend saying he's thankful to her ex husband for being a bad husband so that he had a chance with her was cute.
Glad to see that the creep who groomed and abused Meng Meng is getting torn apart online. I nearly teared up when Jin Xia was thinking about her.
I can't believe there are only 6 episodes left, things are going to be intense for the remaining episodes, especially since we only got a villain in the final stretch, before there hadn't really been one. I do find it interesting that Li Quan and Tian Zhen have the same arc but switched. Tian Zhen starts off as a total jerk but grows into a kind and sweet guy who's so whipped for Tou Tou while Li Quan starts out a nice and thoughtful guy who grows into a jealous and morally ambiguous jerk.

I would also be surprised if she didn't notice. And same, I hope they both are able to become successors, even if TT isn't technically one by blood. I think she has earned the right.

Wow...I did not see that coming. So Tou Tou isn't the real successor? Mr Wu has been lying to everyone? That's crazy. And Li Quan, since when did he become like that? I understand his family situation is rough but dang, episode 32 really revealed his true colors. I bet he'll expose it in one of tomorrows episodes, that's going to be rough for everyone involved.
On a happier note, I want to find a man who looks at me the way Tian Zhen looks at Tou Tou. He is so in love, they're so adorable. And I think the grandfather has become my new favourite character, he's so funny. Also go Grandma Song for being the first to figure it out. They were giving each other heart eyes and flirting right in front of them, I would've been surprised if no one picked up on it.
Why was XZ so upset after the reunion? Did Little Lark ignore him or something? I don't know why that plotline has become a thing but whatever.
I have a feeling the remaining episodes are going to be quite stressful so let's all prepare ourselves.

Oh my god, I want to commit murder. What a vile, disgusting man. Poor Meng Meng, I wish I could hug her. AND HER PARENTS! What is so awful about a teenager exploring her own body? It's perfectly normal!! My blood was boiling half that episode, I'm so angry.
Also wtf is with Dr Ren getting jealous of his sons success? That's so self centered, he could only think of the fact that he never got that praise instead of celebrating with him. Seriously?
I feel bad for LQ but I'm not surprised, after all XX told Tou Tou she wouldn't date him because of his financial status. My heart hurt for him though.
Tou Tou and Tian Zhen are so cute, I love the way Tian Zhen is so whipped for her and she's fallen just as hard. I wish she'd let him beat Nan up though, jail would be worth it in my opinion. I'm glad he got torn apart online but I wish he'd get more. One, sexual coercion of a minor. Two, emotional abuse. Three, blackmail. HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

Gosh, episode 27 hurt to watch. Many tears were shed. I really hate how the parents were treating Meng Meng. They were treating her like a prisoner and the way the mom was shaming her for her interests and for spending time with boys made my blood boil. I hate hate hate how RXZ responded to Tian Zhens grief, he lost his first ever patient whom he had a significant attachment to. His reaction was completely understandable, not everyone grieves the same way. Ugh.
But on a happier note, Tian Zhen and Tou Tou were so cute in episode 28🥰 him confessing outside the toilet and her commenting on how odd that was had me cackling. I love how she was repeatedly telling him how good a doctor he is, trying to remove all the doubts his father had sewn into him. I am so happy they're dating and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them both individually and as a couple.
Also side note, I'm happy that Chen Ying might be getting a love interest. Girl deserves some happiness after all the shit she's had to deal with. I'm sad we only have 12 episodes left but this is definitely going to be in my top dramas of this year.

Poor Meng Meng, she is struggling so much. I don't like her parents at all, they are not giving their child what she needs. Tomorrow's episodes are going to be really sad, let's all prepare our tissues.
Besides her though, UM why are they hinting at a cheating storyline for RXZ? Legit, hate that so much.
I love how Tou Tou and Tian Zhen are progressing, it's so obvious they like each other but are both too nervous to bring it up. I love how he asked her when she went to sleep and she just fully was like "you would know, you were there"(in different words but same meaning). Now that Tian Zhen has started to mature and is about to start the post Meng Meng, doctor losing his patient arc where he'll mature even more, I'm shipping them so much.
Shi Yan was being so rude at the opening ceremony. I understand as a western medicine user myself that TCM can be a bit hard to believe and unscientific but if you're at an event for TCM, keep that to yourself. It annoyed me personally, even though I don't believe in the effectiveness of TCM very much.
Overall, enjoyed these episodes but I am going to have to build up my emotional stamina for tomorrow

I've seen the spoilers that something bad is going to happen to Meng Meng soon and I'm not ready. I might be one of the few people who likes Meng Meng (outside of her relationship with Tian Zhen) not to mention it's a Lusi drama and I always end up bawling my eyes out at her dramas. I've been impressed by Tian Zhens actor as well so I'm going to prepare myself, in case it happens these coming episodes (25&26).

I hope Meng Meng is ok. She seemed so scared when she was looking at her phone, I completely understand why Tou Tou was worried about her. Asking her would've been better than attempting to break into her phone but I understand why Tou Tou tried, she probably didn't think Meng Meng would answer her.
Tou Tou and Tian Zhen are so cute, I love how they are always together now and them popping the confetti thing was adorable. I wish TZ had answered her and said he's not dating Meng Meng because it's clear he's fallen for Tou Tou so why wouldn't he tell her he's available? Also, I really am enjoying SY and Rebecca as a pair. Rebecca's growth and development is amazing, I'm loving how far she's come. SY has some more growing to do, his arc is to learn to accept and respect TCM but he's not quite there yet. I imagine he'll get there though, after one or two more cases.
Why is Dr Ren always trying to put down his wife in some capacity? Last episode it was her personality he thought was bad, this episode he tells her he doesn't think she's very pretty like what? How rude. Dr Song has her personality flaws but overall I like her a lot and I think she's very pretty so Idk what Dr Ren is on about.
Also why did the mom let the grandma pick Le Le up? She knows she plans to steal him from her yet she's allowing this? No way, I'd be on my way to get a restraining order the MINUTE someone took my child somewhere but lied to me about where. If I were Le Le's mom, grandma and dad would not be seeing him for a long time.

That grandma, Istg. She really is way out of bounds and the way the police sided with her had me fuming. I hope Cheng Ying is able to get full custody and keep her away. This episode didn't really have much plot wise happen, besides Rebecca finding a new place to hold the apprentice class. Everything else was pretty much just filler. I imagine the hug attempt will take place next episode and honestly I don't understand how no one in the Ren/Song family has picked up that Meng Meng isn't the one Tian Zhen likes. It's Tou Tou. I think her leaving the house might show that more, which might be why the "Tou Tou is your sister" clip is going around. It must happen soon. If I had to geuss, in one of mondays episodes. Could be later, idk. But it'll be soon, as will Meng Mengs charecter departure (idk if she'll die like some people think but I think she'll be out of the house by the Tou Tou is your sister thing)
