Till which episode have you watched??😧 I’m at episode 58 and he’s still alive!! Why does Xixi take the most tragic roles though??!😫 I really hope he doesn’t die in the end!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😭😭😭 TanTaiJin and Runyu are my all time favorite characters! 😭💔

I really don’t understand the hate towards Runyu. Out of all the characters in Ashes of Love, he was one of the most kind and gentle. He never harmed anyone unless he was forced to defend himself—meanwhile, almost everyone around him tried to hurt him in some way. His love for Jinmi was pure and unwavering. He didn’t charm his way into her heart like Xufeng; instead, he loved her quietly, patiently, and selflessly. He was always there for her, healing her wounds, offering his support, yet she never once showed him warmth or kindness in return. She was ice-cold towards him, and yet he never wavered.I understand that love isn’t something you can force, and Jinmi’s heart was always with Xufeng. But why the hate towards Runyu? He sacrificed so much for her—half his life, his happiness—only to be misunderstood and vilified. He wasn’t some villain; he was a man who loved deeply and lost. He deserves sympathy, not hate!!

I’m on episode 50… I really love this series so much, with its ups and downs, but it’s starting to get so frustrating. …Am I the only one who finds Runyu to be the best character of all?! He suffered so much since his birth!! Everyone seems to misunderstand him, although he only spoke the truth and brought justice to everyone who was evil! He showed mercy even to that bitch that killed his mother and so many more people! His father was the mastermind of wiping out whole tribes -and yet he didn’t kill him. Even Jinmi has been so cruel to him when all he gave her was love and kindness - and life!! Runyu only asked one thing of his brother Xufeng : to let Jinmi be his wife, but he couldn’t even let this single thing. Yes! It’s hard to give up on your love, but he could do this sacrifice for his brother-since he said he cared for him!.. Idk… the story is surely tragic, but I find Runyu to be the most tragic and misunderstood character of them all…

Idk why I find it so funny, but what’s with all those “calm down your highness “!!😂😂 Usually in the western culture this would sound rude -especially if addressed to a royal!?… And nowadays especially when someone says “calm down” to some, it can even trigger them to get angier😂But it seems that for their culture it was something normal to say.

I agree on almost everything you said..Tbh after I started watching this, the FL’s voice was quite unbearable 🥴It was literally like listening to a 3year-old girl , plus too talkative and annoying 😭😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️ But as the character and the story developed, I didn’t mind about it and loved it all in all!🥰 I binge watched it and I enjoyed it. it felt light and fluffy, sprinkled with a little bit of suspence and action! Loved the lightness of it; the funny and romantic moments were so enjoyable!🥰

There were truly many good lines throughout the whole series, mostly painful, but there were also many lines that were truly deep and inspiring! I remember myself being impressed by how witty and meaningful the dialogues were.✨

Tbh I haven’t watched many c-dramas, but I loved Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu’s chemistry so so much! 😍🥰🥰It’s my favorite so far! Every look is charged with emotion, subtle yet undeniably powerful!!! When they’re together, the atmosphere seems to sizzle, alive with tension and yearning…Because of them I’m watching ‘Love is Sweet’ now!🤭
It reminded me of the chemistry of the couple of ‘Crash landing on you’ (which is my favorite in the k-dramas area)!!🥰
